Thanks for the reply!
I'll just wait for the call from the real estate agent this week about a house. That'll give me a bit more certainty. Then I'll decide.

I'm 21, but the due date is one day after my birthday, so I'm curious. I'm pregnant with my first baby
I found out late, but it's really exciting, and luckily everything is healthy with no abnormalities... -

When I post on other forums that I want to become a mom early, I get all sorts of negative reactions like: you're only 19, how are you going to manage that financially, and who says your and your friend's relationship will last. Can he support you then? You don't even know how expensive a house and a baby are. Blah blah blah... I'm sure I can do it! And my boyfriend earns enough to pay the rent and support us. Plus, we'll definitely be supported by my father-in-law. So I don't understand why my idea is being shot down on other sites! They call me selfish, etc. But I'm not even pregnant yet; I'm just thinking about doing it. And I'm sure my boyfriend and I could take good care of the baby. We'll get plenty of support from his family and our friends. -

Yeah, people talk a lot, so I'm also checking out this forum to see what people around you are saying, and I do notice it's pretty much the same. Reading all this actually makes me feel 'stronger'.
Thanks everyone!! -

They are definitely jealous!! Being a young mom is awesome!! You can still be active with your little one! Enjoy it and don't let people who say that be your friends.
Enjoy your little miracle! -

Hey!
I'm 21 myself and my boyfriend is 25. We want to be young parents because we personally think it might be nicer for our little one ^^
Best wishes and good luck with the pregnancy! xx -

Hello everyone. It's nice to read all these lovely comments. I'm also 20 and pregnant with our first little miracle... If I had met my boyfriend earlier, it might have been sooner... If it were up to me, I would have been a teen mom, but I ended up waiting for the one. I'm still with my first boyfriend after 4 years, and we started trying to conceive a year and a half ago. Now I'm very proud and super happy to be pregnant with our first little miracle... We're expecting our little one on January 22, 2014. It's nice that I'm not the youngest on this great forum. -

21 is a beautiful age, girl. From a physical standpoint, 19 is what I learned during my studies is the best age to get pregnant, followed by 21-26. That's why I don't get why people always complain about getting pregnant early. I once saw a documentary from England about the risks and consequences of getting pregnant later than 26 on the unborn children, the mothers, and society... And how these problems are becoming more common because people increasingly choose to focus on their careers first. If it's not any different... well, it's not different, of course... But if you can get pregnant young, I'd say go for it... By the way, in our grandparents' time, it was completely normal to start having children from age 18... You simply produce the best and strongest eggs, which only decline in quality from then on. The first years it's slow, but it speeds up... So don't let what others say bother you! You know better

I recognize that... my husband was also 29 for our first, and I was 23. He didn't want to wait any longer either. Now I'm 30 years old and have just given birth to our second!

Nothing personal, but I don't quite agree with how IVF is discussed... it's not about your age (you might have started young and it still didn't work out
). Some women just have a hard time getting pregnant or can't at all, and that's hard enough. It wasn't easy for me either, so I can imagine how difficult it is for women who already need IVF... and yeah, it's a bonus if you get pregnant young and quickly, but it's not a given. -

Totally agree. I have a classmate now who's 23 and also struggling to get pregnant. It's so hard for her. She's been going to the hospital for over a year now. And now I'm pregnant with my third and keep complaining that everything hurts. She says, "Give it to me." And then I think, oh right. I'd give up the pregnancy in a heartbeat, but I really don't want to lose the result. I hope she can get pregnant soon too. -

Hey, I was 18 when I had my first, I'm 21 now with my second, and I still get such rude comments. I bought the book "Traliemamas" and the lady at the bookstore said, "Yeah, you're buying this one on time because the others are too late." What the hell? It's not because I'm 21 and my boyfriend is almost 22 and we have kids that we're criminals. I hear all sorts of things, but I don't let it get to me. -

Here I am, 23, and my boyfriend is 24, and we're trying for our first. I'd like to have the first one a bit younger and the second one before I turn 30 so they're not so close together.
So far, it hasn't really been working out to get pregnant, unfortunately. If it does happen soon, I'll be 24 when I give birth and my boyfriend will be 25. I think that's a pretty nice age, right?
Thanks to this forum, I'm already prepared for what people might say. But yeah, we have a good income, a permanent contract, a warm loving home, and we've been together for 5.5 years already. So bring it on, haha. -

Totally agree with your Dame....we did it the same way when trying to get pregnant. We also had a 6-year gap and we love it

I was 22, and I consciously chose to be a young mom. I could see everyone wondering if it was an accident. I think being a young mom is an advantage—you still remember what's important for 'the youth'.
I can now sing along with my own daughter, who's a superfan, to all the K3 songs from my time.
