Cookies

Every cookie Mummable sets, what it's for and how long it stays.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Mummable sets, what it's for and how long it stays.

If you're just reading

Only Google Analytics sets cookies. We use them to count visits in a privacy-friendly way.

Cookie What it's for How long
_ga Google Analytics: tells visits from the same browser apart, with a random number Up to 2 years
_ga_1LMSMSNW0K Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit Up to 2 years

Our Google Analytics is set up so that it doesn't need your consent: we have a data processing agreement with Google, we don't share data with Google, Google signals and advertising features are off, no exact location or device data is collected, IP addresses are not stored, and data is kept for 2 months. The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) allows analytics set up like this without consent, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. More in our privacy policy.

What we don't use

No advertising cookies, no social media cookies, no tracking across other websites.

Videos and images in forum posts

Some forum posts contain YouTube videos, embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), or images from other websites. When you play a video, YouTube may store information in your browser under Google's own privacy policy.

Removing or blocking cookies

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block Google Analytics, the site works just the same; if you block the sign-in cookies, you can still read everything but can't post.
