About Mummable

Mummable is a place for parents and parents-to-be to ask questions, share what they're going through, and find clear, well-sourced answers about trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, babies and toddlers.

Where Mummable comes from

Mummable is the English-language edition of Brabbels, a Dutch website and forum about pregnancy, babies and parenting that has been online since 2009.

Many conversations on the Mummable forum started on Brabbels and were translated into English, so English-speaking parents can learn from them too. New members can join in, ask their own questions and reply in English.

Who runs it

Mummable is published by Peace of Mind Media, the company behind Brabbels. The same team that has run Brabbels since 2009 looks after the Mummable forum and its articles.

• The forum, where parents talk about everything from two-week waits to toddler tantrums. Everything posted there is a member's own experience and opinion.
• Articles that answer common questions in plain language, built on guidance from official health bodies and research, with sources listed at the end of every article. Read how we make them in our editorial policy.
