It might be good to reread how she made her choice and that she found it difficult.

Yes, of course, but she also gets notifications when people reply here, and it seems quite painful for her to say after her decision that she would absolutely never commit abortion... I think it's better not to reply.

Thanks for the support, ano22 and bueno. Some people just don’t understand what it’s like to face such a choice and can’t imagine at all what it would be like to carry a child for 9 months and then have to give it away. The decision is and remains very painful, and I hope I never have to make it or experience anything like it again. But yeah, this is an old thread.

No problem, how are you doing now?

Are they already starting with that same scam here? So annoying!!!
  8. Hartje #68

Start? I've already started while I've been here.

Can we do anything about that?

Hi everyone, I just want to share my story here and hopefully help people realize that abortion can have a huge impact on your body, both mentally and physically. Two years ago, I was in a very complicated, unhealthy relationship. I suddenly got pregnant. It was clearly not welcome by the person I was sharing my life with at the time. I reacted really hard and chose to have an abortion. I massively underestimated the mental impact! There wasn't a day that went by without crying spells, but the worst was yet to come. A few months after the abortion, things went wrong: bleeding, hormonal fluctuations, eventually bleeding for 3 weeks and then not for 1 week. Gynecologists brushed me off very quickly. "It'll be fine, ma'am." Until one day I gathered the courage to see a specialist. A laparoscopy was the only way to find out exactly what was wrong. The result: Asherman's syndrome. Getting pregnant in the nice, romantic way is no longer possible. Take a moment to appreciate the precious opportunities in life. No matter how hard it gets, there are always solutions. It's been a hard life lesson for me, but I especially want to share this with women facing this dilemma.

    Best wishes
