    Hi ladies,
I just got a Clear Blue test in my hands that said 2-3 weeks.
So nervous.. I find this so incredibly exciting!! I feel like I want to do a million tests.

And scared that something’s not right bla bla, I’m sure you can all relate to these feelings..?

Hi there... had my first ultrasound on Tuesday due to bleeding... the little one was just under 8 weeks. And had an external ultrasound... with a little pressure we could see it well... the heartbeat we could see but not hear....

And on the ultrasound photo it says 4.6cm, is this normal or how is this calculated????

I don't have the first trimester scan until May 12th... it's all quite nerve-wracking, hope the heartbeat is still there then... (my very sensitive breasts are no longer sore at the moment, they only hurt a little bit now... and otherwise no discomfort anywhere).....

Went to the doctor yesterday... didn't get much wiser... won't be back for another month....

    Hi there!

I have exactly the same anxious feelings. This is our first baby too, and we’ve known for about a week that we’re pregnant. I already called the midwife because I was maybe worrying unnecessarily.

Last Saturday I took a test—light positive. Sunday, the line was a bit darker... Then last Tuesday, it was light again. I didn’t know what to think. The midwife said, “No worries, a line is a line.” I do have some symptoms though: sore, sensitive breasts and nipples, chills, and in the evenings I feel really nauseous and super tired... My first ultrasound is on May 26th.

I really hope I can start enjoying it soon, because right now it’s quite hard for me since I’m just unsure whether everything will be okay...

Ilona, I really hope everything is fine for you too. From week 12 onwards, you’ll also be able to enjoy it more. Good luck!

Our first ultrasound, I was 6 weeks and 6 days. He was only 0.9 cm. Wow, 0.9 cm!!! That's really small and it grows quite fast in the beginning ????. Congratulations to everyone!

Thanks. Yes, I also hope that I can start enjoying it after the 12th... up until now, I haven't been able to enjoy it yet... I currently have cramps right at the bottom of my belly.

And now I did see a beating little heart on the ultrasound. So I know for sure that something is there, but I still can't enjoy it. I'm scared that it won't be beating anymore on May 12th....

The ultrasound photo says 4.6cm, but is that the entire open space where the baby is lying, or is that the size of the baby itself? I did see something that looks like little arms and leg stumps. But I'm not sure exactly what it is... The ultrasound lady said she was just checking if there's a heartbeat and if something is there... she was back next to the table in 5 minutes already, so I couldn't really ask any questions...

That's why I'm still in uncertainty right now about whether the little heart will keep beating and whether the size we saw is correct...

Whether the heartbeat stays strong, you can worry about that until you're blue in the face, but it won't help! It's better not to get too worked up about it, because that brings unrest into your body. Focus on the positive! The heartbeat is there! There's nothing more you can know yet.

Those centimeters are about the baby itself. They grow so many cm per week. You can find all kinds of descriptions online. And I found that most comforting because then I could visualize it a bit.

Yeah, I don't know how they come to that conclusion either, but that stare on the ultrasound.. mamma2013 I saw your photos on your profile. But you already have quite a belly at 9 weeks. I naturally have overweight and it doesn't show anything on me yet, although I have the feeling it has grown a little bit already....

Saturday from 11 PM to 1 AM I had a lot of stabbing pains in my lower belly, couldn't sit or stand... we were playing a board game.... Sunday I still had light stabs all day in the lower left side... and today a little bit too.. also today I'm extremely tired...

May 12th is the real due date ultrasound, I'm so nervous whether the little heart will still be beating then....

Yeah, I find it really exciting... my midwife just called me back about those twinges in my belly... according to her, my uterus is growing and that's what I feel down in my belly and my ligaments.....

I find it so exciting and it's still a whole week until then, the days feel so long....
I hope everyone gets what they want with the heartbeat, that the chance is then less... I do have something like yes the ultrasound looked good for this term and the heartbeat is there... but suppose it has now stopped beating... you can't tell from your body... I find that quite frightening... this is my qe pregnancy still but (but really wanted it so that's why all that uncertainty for me)... glad that there is someone else in the same situation and in the same week.... would you like to keep in touch via email? Then we have a buddy to chat with...

    @ilona

    How did the ultrasound go?
  10. I #30

At the 10-week scan, they did see a heartbeat and it measured 35.2 mm.

I'm going to the doctor the day after tomorrow and hopefully, I'll hear it then too. I have an AngelSound, and I think I could hear the heartbeat pretty well at 12 weeks, and even heard something ticking. But tonight, I heard nothing. So I'll wait with bated breath until Wednesday to see if it really was the heartbeat...
