Unexpected, what a miracle!

Jennerd!!
Hi everyone,

My name is Jennerd and I'm new here as of today!
I'll introduce myself quickly: I'm 21 years old and I got pregnant unexpectedly.
21 is still very young, but my partner and I actually have everything in order.
We bought a home for one person in January for the future,
We've been together for over 3 years and both have permanent jobs. So sometimes
I really don't feel 21, but more like 26 or so! Some people act
very weird suddenly when I tell them my age... That's really annoying sometimes...
Nowadays, a lot of people are young and pregnant, I hear regularly around me.
And I really know that some people have a hard time getting pregnant,
so I signed up for Mothers for Mothers 4 weeks ago! I really respect people who struggle to get pregnant!
And for that reason, I really couldn't bring myself to have an abortion! I'm very grateful that we're getting a little miracle unexpectedly!
And of course, respect to all pregnant women dealing with those lovely hormones!

It's just a really big, beautiful gift. You've got everything in order, you said, and you've already thought about the future regarding a home. People shouldn't be so complaining and just be happy for you. There are people who are much older and expecting a child who have nothing sorted out and can't even support the child...

Enjoy your little miracle in your belly. Before you know it, the nine months will be over.

    Love, mamavan2

    Hi jennerd,

First of all, congratulations on this little miracle... I just want to say that being a mom is really lovely. I'm 30 now and pregnant with my second... I was 23 when I got pregnant with my first, and my partner and I had already been living together for 3 years, and everything was sorted out properly. It was a conscious choice, mind you, but whether it's planned or unexpected... what matters is that it comes with love, right? My partner and I have been happily married since September 2011, and we've been together for almost 10 years. We're expecting a brother or sister for our almost 6-year-old son in October. So what I'm trying to say is, it's wonderful to have such a little miracle growing inside you, so enjoy it... they grow up so fast.

    Best, dcb & ?

    Hi Jennerd,

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!!

Your age really doesn't matter as long as your little one gets all the love and care

I myself got unexpectedly pregnant at 22 after the pill... (it just didn't seem strong enough for me after 6 years of use). It's a bit of a shock at first, but once that initial shock wears off, you can only dream about your little miracle...

My girl is now 3 and a half months old... I'm 23 now and honestly, I wouldn't give her up for any amount of money!!!

My partner and I have been together for 6 years and have been living together for 2 years, and we are so happy, especially now with our little girl around! She brings so much joy and life into the house!!

(I often feel older than my peers too! A lot of them are still studying and partying while this has never appealed to me! I'd rather have my family than the nightlife )

Enjoy your pregnancy to the fullest, before you know it, it'll be over and you'll be cuddling a little baby and missing your bump hihi...

GOOD luck and ENJOY it loads!!

    Love, Daphne

    Hey Jennerd,

    Congrats!
I was 22 when I found out I was pregnant (unplanned but oh so welcome).
The nice thing about being pregnant early is that you also recover faster.
My husband and I had just gotten married but had been together for 8 years already.

But what I wanted to say is, it's not about what others think, it's about how you feel. We immediately had this feeling that it had to be this way. It was a pity we didn't have the "anticipation" part, but on the flip side, we didn't have the disappointments of failed rounds either.

I'm also 21 now and pregnant with our first baby!
This was actually planned.. I did get all those reactions like "you're still so young, shouldn't you have waited a few more years?" Why wait when this baby is so wanted?

Enjoy your pregnancy and show off that belly

Hi and welcome! I join all the others: age doesn't matter! In the past, it was strange to get pregnant late, but now times have changed a bit. But who cares?
    Congratulations on your pregnancy!
    Love, Esther
