    I agree with you, mamavan2.
I get the feeling that you're afraid to stand up to your mother-in-law. It's your child, not hers.

Read the response where she says she wants your child there. Your mother-in-law has NO right to want anything.

As you can already read from the previous replies, I have an answer for you too... I'm not alone, and if you both have a different decision... as I said... it's 1 against 4. And I think my partner only sees it for financial reasons... I've already gotten angry about that... but yeah, he got that stubbornness from his mom.

You have to make the choice for yourself. Who is the most important? Your child or your husband and his parents. I'll tell you that I'll do everything in my power to give my child the best, even if it means hurting or losing people. I think every mother agrees with this.

Well, it does seem pretty tough if you're the only one feeling this way and everyone else thinks differently. I also find it hard to give you advice. I hope you can talk things through with your partner about how you're feeling. It's your baby after all, and you have the right to make decisions. I'd be pretty angry too. I understand that it's financially easier too. I hope you can find a good solution. I think this is quite unfair for you. I wish you lots of strength; there's not much more I can do. And what I said before wasn't meant as an attack on you, I was just trying to help.
    Love, Sanjo

Well said. I agree with you, but I'm not sure if it's going to help to tell her that. I understand that she finds it difficult when everyone else thinks differently.

I also want to add that from my side, it’s absolutely not an attack.
