Hope
Such an uncertain moment right now.... am I pregnant or not? Is my HCG rising or falling? pffff It makes me so insecure, tears are welling up in my eyes because I want it so badly. I hope it works out this time!!!!
Had a miscarriage around March 16th, after which there was hope to get pregnant again quickly.... which wasn't fast enough for me.... and yes, I was pregnant again in September.... but no, it went wrong again although the gynecologist couldn't confirm this because my uterine lining was still thick and he couldn't see any blood remnants.... 4 weeks of tension and on Friday I had to have blood drawn as agreed to see what my body is doing.... last Wednesday I was supposed to get my period but NO, I didn't.... but I've had period cramps and back pain for three weeks now.... I thought that's normal!!!! Now today, the assistant called to ask if I have an appointment tomorrow between 12 and 2 because I have an HCG value of 150 and this could be an early pregnancy.... I'm surprised because it just went wrong last month!!!! Oh, well, I don't dare to say whether it's starting or ending like last time.... I really hope it's rising and I'm pregnant again.... would 3x really be ship's right, dear people....

Well, girl, fingers crossed! I can totally imagine your insecurity.
It's true that after a miscarriage, you're usually very fertile for a while because the hormones that caused the pregnancy stay in your body for some time.
So right after a miscarriage, you always have the highest chance of getting pregnant.
Good luck with everything, and here's hoping for the best!
    Greetings, Madelene

Hi Madelen, that's true, but the first time it went wrong, it took half a year, so this was quite unexpected but so nice to hear. I have my ultrasound on Tuesday.... I'm curious. Although I have to say that my days are really different. One day goes super, the next day lots of cramps, sometimes some fluid loss or the feeling of it, and all while it's still so early.... Exciting, uncertain, but also so lovely and looking forward to a good pregnancy....

Hi, hope it's exciting your first ultrasound! Try not to stress too much—stress affects a lot. Try to go into your pregnancy with positive thoughts, and your body will respond better to that. Trust that everything will work out; thoughts have power, how crazy it may sound. Good luck on Tuesday!

Had my first ultrasound. Exciting but not much to see. According to the scan, it's only 4 to 5 weeks old, while we thought we were at 6 weeks... but still, we saw something. Now I have pain in my belly (like period pain) or nervous pain. I went to the dentist today; since Thursday, I've had enormous pain in my molar. Got a root canal treatment... so for now, I'm lying down on the couch, catching up on today's events. Keeping faith.
