Longer pregnant than expected?

You only know exactly how far along you are in your pregnancy after your ultrasound. I believe you can never be sure when the egg implanted. Not even if you felt something or had bleeding. Because you can still get that at 8 weeks.

For the initial calculations, no. How far along you are is determined at the 12-week dating scan.

Your baby starts developing and growing from day 1 (ovulation); the exact day it implants isn't that important (and as Beertje already says: you can't know it exactly either). Since all babies grow at roughly the same rate in early pregnancy, a dating scan provides a very reliable estimate.

Yes, it depends on when your ovulation was implanted.
I clearly felt the implantation with my first, it was so beautiful and special.
With the third, I didn’t feel it at all.
Everyone is different; some notice it, others don’t.

Correction, typo: I meant that at the 2nd one I didn't feel the implantation, but with the first one I did.
And yes, that's how it is in answer to your question.
    Greetings, Madelene
