Hi everyone,

My little boy is now 4 months old. But since he was born, he's been crying a lot due to colic.

Recently, we went to the hospital because he completely stopped eating (due to the colic). He was there for 11 days, was on a feeding tube 3 times, and they tried many different formulas. Now he's on the most specialized formula, Neocate (formula for cow's milk allergy and other types of allergies...).

Normally, the pediatricians said things would improve with this formula...

But it's been a month now, and he still has constant colic, crying, and screaming from early morning until late at night... He barely sleeps at all because of all the colic.

The pediatrician says he'll grow out of it, but I know that doesn't make sense! A baby who has colic from early morning until late at night... His development is even falling behind because of it...

I really don't know what to do anymore!

Moms who can relate?

Kind regards,

    How sad!!!
    Maybe try a haptotherapist?
My little one was also crying like that and then it turned out his neck wasn't positioned quite right, due to a cow's milk allergy.
Lots of strength, for him and for you.

Wishing you both lots of strength.

Is a haptotherapist the same as an osteopath?

    Thank you.

No, I don't think it's exactly the same. But a physiotherapist could also help out.

    Hi!
    It's nice that you asked!
We went to an osteopath on Wednesday, and I have to say I'm really happy with it!
Since yesterday, he's been sleeping a bit more, and when he was in the hospital for 11 days, he had to take antibiotics for his urinary tract infection. Because of that, his gut flora was also affected, but the pediatricians didn't tell me anything about a follow-up treatment for his gut flora. Now the osteopath mentioned it and gave me a 3-week course to restore his gut flora, and it's already a bit better, not completely yet, but slowly but surely we're getting there
We have to go back next week.

    Greetings
