Hi ladies, I'm new here. I've been reading on forums for a while, but now I want to share my own story so I can get tips from others who are in the same boat.

We've been trying for 2 years... To keep my story short, I'll summarize it. My period stopped after I quit the pill and I ended up getting diagnosed. Turns out I had 3 cysts... I got 5 pills to bring my period on. My period came, but the next cycle was late again. I was referred to the hospital and prescribed the pill for another 3 months to regulate my cycle and shrink the cysts. When I was done with that, I turned out to be pregnant... early miscarriage, had many ultrasounds, and eventually they decided to prescribe Clomid. I'm now starting my 3rd round with 50mg Clomid. My cycle was 34 days during the first 2 rounds. Does anyone have other tips or alternatives? Clomid can also cause cysts to form again and increase the risk of miscarriage. So other tips are welcome... Best, Mandy

Hi sweetie, nice to see you reply! Yes, my partner got tested and I did too, and everything came back fine. Actually, it does seem to be working since my cycle went from over 40 days to 34 days, so that's a positive sign, but it just won't happen... I've got my period now, but it's not really flowing, so it's just confusing again I don't know if I should just wait it out again or try other things. Hope we both get lucky soon. Getting negative every month is really frustrating.. xoxo

I had to take my pills for 10 days every time my cycle reached 40 days and I wasn't testing positive, to induce a 'withdrawal bleed', and then start counting from the first day of that bleed. From day 1 of the bleed until day 12, I took evening primrose oil capsules to shorten the cycle length. Eventually, it worked after doing the 10-day pill break 5 times...
