Still quite a while to go..... -
Dani #63
Hi LyDo,
Congratulations! I'm looking forward to the 21st with you!
Everything's fine here. I do get a headache every day, but it goes away on its own. I don't feel like taking PCM; I usually don't either. I have the feeling that 16 years ago, you were supposed to be more cautious with it.
I have an ultrasound and a blood test on Thursday. I'll definitely mention the headaches. -

Welcome all the new girls!!
How are you doing?
I really had a rough night.
Last night I lost some blood and had stomach pain.
Naturally, I lay awake all night worrying and thinking.
Finally it was morning and I could call the midwife.
Last Friday I had my ultrasound. It was also done internally.
This probably damaged a small blood vessel, which then "burst" on Sunday.
The stomach pain is explained by the fact that my uterus is growing.
The midwife looked at the ultrasound again just to be sure, but
concluded that everything is perfectly fine.
Oh my goodness... I was so startled!
I hope I sleep better tonight.
I have to say that I'm feeling a bit better little by little....
@Dani: I also don't use PCM unless it's really necessary. So far I've managed without PCM. -
Dani #65
Hi Bolletje,
I can imagine you were quite startled. It's good that the midwife took another look at your ultrasound and explained everything. Luckily, everything was fine, and I hope you'll sleep better tonight! -

Hi Bolletje,
Wow, that’s quite a shock! I can totally imagine you lying awake and worrying. Luckily, everything points to things being okay. Hold on to that thought.
I hope you’re sleeping better now.
Well, I’m finally going to the hospital on Thursday for the first ultrasound. Honestly, I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Today I’m officially 10 weeks pregnant, but my belly is already huge.
I can’t hide the fact that I’m pregnant anymore. People think I’m already 4 or 5 months along. Yesterday I had to go to the clinic for a check-up on my foot—I had surgery—and they needed to take X-rays. So I said I’m pregnant, and the woman replied, “Yeah, I thought so! How far along are you?” I said, “Five months?” No, tomorrow is 10 weeks. She nearly fell over!
I really don’t understand why I already have such a big belly. On Thursday, we’ll get some answers—maybe there’s more than one baby? Or maybe I’m further along than I think?
I’m going crazy with all these questions running through my head. But yeah, I can only wait until Thursday. The only thing that matters to me is that everything is okay and that the heartbeat is strong.
Take it easy, Bolletje, and we’ll talk again soon.
Love, Renate -

I'm just following along a bit
expecting our 5th little miracle on Jan 13th. We're super happy (even though some people react negatively haha) and saw him/her happily jumping up and down yesterday during the ultrasound at the clinic. -

just signed up, it was pretty easy.

Hi Ramona,
Congratulations on your pregnancy, and how lovely it is to see such a tiny little one bouncing around on the ultrasound, haha!
As for the people who are negative, just let them be and don't give them any attention at all.
We're a blended family, with 2 kids from my previous relationship (14 and 11 years old), and my partner has 2 from a previous relationship (8 and 6 years old). Together we have a little one who's almost 3, and now the next one is on the way.
I just easily brush off any negative reactions from people. Don't even bother paying attention to them.
You should just enjoy your family and that little miracle growing inside you.
Wishing you a beautiful and healthy pregnancy, and hope you'll be joining in here too now!
Have a nice day,
Kind regards,
Renate74 -

You're probably right about that
thanks -

In 2 days I'll be 12 weeks pregnant
It's going pretty fast already. On July 6 I'm going to the gynecologist to see how our little miracle is doing
So excited! -

Due on January 1, 2013! Already had two good ultrasounds... now really looking forward to feeling our baby move! -
Dani #73
Hi sweetie,
That's so nice to hear everything went well!
Everything's great here too, and it's amazing to see, right? Arms and legs moving, super. Saw and heard the heart.
I did shed a tear of emotion there...
My due date is now January 22nd, so a day later, which means everything's fine.
There's another scan on July 10th, hopefully my friend can come along. Yesterday he couldn't get time off, which was really a pity. -
Renate74 #74
Hey lovely ladies,
I had my ultrasound yesterday and everything was fine so far, the little heart was beating.
But I have to leave you all, because according to the dating scan I'm only 7 weeks and 2 weeks pregnant? I don't understand it at all. I have to do another ultrasound on July 30th and also have the nuchal translucency measurement done.
So now I'm in the February group instead of January.
The due date is now set for Feb 13, 2013.
Who knows if it will change again, because I really don't understand it.
Fortunately, everything is fine with you too, and if you're okay with it, I'll keep following you.
Well ladies, I wish you a lovely weekend
Love, Renate74 -

Hi everyone,
Dani, it's so nice that everything went well. I hope your friend can come then.
Renate, it's so strange that you're suddenly so much further along. Could they explain that? Oh, what a shame, but if everything else is fine with your little one, that's what matters most.
I called the midwife this morning. I've got pregnancy acne all over my neck, shoulders, and back, and it's not funny anymore. The assistant talked to the midwife and will call back. I'm curious. Besides that, I'm very tired and don't feel completely well either. But starting today, the kids are on holiday, so no more strict schedule... well, at least not as strict. And in two weeks, we're going on holiday for a week, so we'll get a break. I wish you all a lovely weekend too. -

Hi ladies,
Yeah, I got a call from the midwife and now I’ve got a gel (Benzoylperoxide hydrogel). I’m supposed to apply it thinly once every 3 days. I’ll try it out later and see how it goes. I’ll keep you posted on whether it makes a difference.
And yeah, if you see a baby room you like now, why not?
After a day full of water fun with the kids at home, I’m going to put my feet up now. Have a lovely evening everyone and a nice Sunday morning.
@Dani, 4 out of 5 weekend shifts, that’s pretty heavy.. luckily you can now enjoy 3 weekends, oh I already have 4 kids. 3 from my previous marriage and 1 with my current partner, and nr. 5 is on the way. I’m enjoying it

HEYY ALL!
Tomorrow I'll be 13 weeks along, already going by fast
It's all warm these days but I'm enjoying being pregnant, tired or not tired, we're enjoying it lol!! -
Dani #78
Hi Ramona,
How's the acne doing now? Is the cream already working?
Cecilia: 13 weeks already, I'm at 11 so you're ahead of me. We're definitely enjoying this lovely weather. I just don't dare go in the sun because of the pregnancy mask. I don't have it yet, but I really don't want it either.
Everything's good here. Yesterday I tried on maternity jeans for the first time—had to take a deep breath, but they felt so comfortable! I can still wear my regular pants in the morning, but by afternoon they're already tight, while these stay nice and comfy, even though the top part is way too big haha.
My partner can come along on Tuesday for the ultrasound. I just feel more comfortable not being alone when we get the results of the blood test and the nuchal translucency scan. I'm a bit worried though... -

Dani, well, that cream is going on tonight for the 2nd time... it's fading a bit so far, but it's definitely not gone yet. I'm curious to see if it fades more, because at least it doesn't feel so irritated anymore, which is nice. Good that your friend can come along on Tuesday, that feels a bit better, yeah.
I've been wearing maternity pants for a few weeks now, but with a 5th baby it shows faster, and I'm only 1.58m, so it has to stick out right away haha. It's definitely something to get used to again, but it fits so much better now.
10 more days and then a nice 8-day break... I'm really looking forward to it.
Cecilia, it's going so fast, isn't it? Just enjoy, enjoy, and enjoy again... before we know it, it'll be time

Hey girls,
It’s already 12 weeks and 3 days today... On the one hand, it feels like it’s going fast, but on the other hand, not really. I’m so excited to feel the little one
We bought the baby’s room last Thursday! It’s amazing!
We also already have a stroller. Everything happened so quickly (we know), but the deals saved us so much money
On Tuesday, I’m getting my blood drawn and we’re having the nuchal translucency scan... It’s always a bit nerve-wracking.
On Friday, I have another check-up with the midwife. I hope we’ll get to hear the heartbeat then.
We did see the heart beating on a previous ultrasound, but we haven’t heard it yet.
Are you guys already feeling the effects of the hot weather?
Girls, enjoy the weather and your pregnancies!
Love,
Bolletje
