We're also still happily rolling around here... it's getting quite heavy and I'm starting to feel those hard contractions and dull aches, and even regular cramps in my lower belly that give a pressing sensation against my pubic bone... probably a sign that my body is starting to prepare, right...
The girl has already dropped down from 31 weeks and a half..
On Tuesday for the check-up, the 36-week ultrasound. I'm curious
because recently at 28 weeks we got a new date again! First we were on January 14th, then on January 21st, and now suddenly on January 7th... so it remains exciting.. and that last date was confirmed again at 31 weeks and a half. Our little girl weighed just under 1.800 then and was almost 42cm long (which is actually quite big for that time, they'd usually be around 40cm long). Well, she'll come when she wants to
Ladies, lots of success when labor starts! Hopefully the little ones stay cozy inside the bellies until after the holidays... (it's something to distract us during those holidays
)
Lots of love and enjoy the last weeks! Enjoy the kicks to the fullest!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE -

Nice to read here again.
We're all nearing the end now.
Had an ultrasound yesterday and the little one is about 2350 gr, which is fine.
I'm on bed rest in the hospital due to ruptured membranes, I think I have 17 more days until 1/1/13 because then I'll be induced.
It's all quite exciting, enjoy those bellies for a little longer, girls, and soon we'll enjoy our little miracles!!!! -

Hey girls!!
It's so nice to read your replies/stories.
Things are coming along quite well here too. I'm now 35.5 weeks pregnant. Three more days of work and then I can relax and rest.
Last Thursday I had an extra ultrasound because the midwife couldn't quite determine the baby's position.
What turned out to be the case.......the little one is in a breech position!!
On Tuesday they're going to try to turn the baby externally. If that doesn't work, I'll have to see the obstetrician, and it'll probably be a C-section.
I was actually quite startled by this news. It really took a while to process.
But now I think...the little one has to come out anyway...vaginally or via C-section...our little rascal is coming, and that's what matters most
Wishing you all a lovely pregnancy, a happy holiday, and of course a wonderful postpartum period.
Hopefully we'll read here soon that someone has given birth!!
Greetings,
Bolletje -

Hey hello,
Congratulations on your little girl and it's great to hear that everything went well.
I gave birth to a boy on January 7th, but things were different here and we had quite a few anxious moments. I don't want to put everything down here, but we lived on the intensive care unit for quite a while. Fortunately, he recovered and is now happily home with us. It was a tough time, but now our family is complete again and we're enjoying it all.
Greetings, Ramona -

Hi ladies,
First of all, congratulations to all of you on your little ones!!
We gave birth on January 26th to a small but healthy daughter!
Her name is Nyana and she weighed 2,930kg and was 49 cm long.
The birth itself went super smoothly, but after the delivery I had some complications... But you can read all about that under Nyana is born.
Lots of love and enjoy your babies!!!
@ramona
Girls, we completely understand if you don't want to share everything!
You must have lived in fear and naturally want to forget this as quickly as possible! The most important thing is that your little one is doing well now and is happily at home where she belongs with mom and dad!
Enjoy it!!!
Love, Daphne and Nyana

Me too in January.. just don't know exactly how far along I am because my first day of my last period was March 30th but I only ovulated on April 18th, I'm sure about that.. so yeah, I'll find out exactly how far along I am on Thursday at my first ultrasound. In January I had an MC x -

If all goes well, I'm due around January 22nd. It's really exciting; it'll be our first, assuming everything goes smoothly. -

Under the 'casual chat' section, an item was added in January 2014. Maybe it's more fun to continue chatting with everyone there? This item seems to be from the mamas of January 2013?
