Lower belly pain

Hi everyone,

I'm about 4-5 weeks pregnant with my first baby.
I've had constant lower abdominal pain for days. It really feels like I'm about to get my period, with the same cramps.
Has anyone here experienced this? I'd love to hear from you. Best wishes, Claire

    That's totally normal, I still get it from time to time now. I'm 8 weeks pregnant. It's just your uterus growing.

    Hi Claire, does it feel like muscle soreness too?
    This is what I'm experiencing: ovulated on the 25th-4th. And I've been wide awake since the night before last.

    @SG92 Oh yes, this is (probably) my first pregnancy. So everything is new and interesting to learn

    hi ladies
    i'm also between 4 and 5 weeks pregnant, and i've got those nasty cramps too (feels like my period is about to start any moment)
    i went to the ZH yesterday and they told me this is normal, and it's due to your uterus growing and pressing on your intestines etc etc
    i had an ectopic pregnancy in 2013, so these cramps scare me a lot, and i keep going to the toilet to check if i'm not losing any blood
