    Hi!
I'm pregnant with my 5th baby.
I'm single and this wasn't planned.
Everyone around me wants me to have an abortion, my family is ignoring me, it's all so much drama.
I'm now 17 weeks along and finding it really hard.

Hi there, same story as *
I’d also really like to get in touch with *. She talks about having 2 kids and now, 11 years later, being pregnant again. I’d love to know how the age gap feels for her.
Here I have 2 kids aged 11 and 13, and now unexpectedly pregnant with the 3rd, and I feel like I’m facing this alone. I hope * can answer here. And Lovely, as you can see, you’re not alone, girl. If people want to get in touch with each other, just give a shout. I’m open to that. You may be a single mom, but you’re not alone. Xxx

Girls.. big respect to you all. It can't be easy raising your child(ren) on your own. But how brave of you to go for it. Soon you'll be able to hold your beautiful baby in your arms????
@Angel. You can reach out to the social services of your municipality. They can issue an urgent declaration for housing associations. Try everything you can to make it work, because I believe you'll regret it if you "have to" end your pregnancy due to lack of housing.

Girls, lots of strength and success!! You're stronger than you think.

I gave birth to my daughter when I was 20 and was a single mom, and now at 33, I'm having another daughter, but unfortunately, I'll be a single mom again. It hurts a lot, but I feel blessed and stay positive. My daughter and family are there for me, so I'm not completely alone ??????.

I'm 25 and just 10 weeks pregnant. I really want to keep the baby, but my ex has cut off all contact, saying the last thing he told me was that I'll ruin his life if I keep it. I can't count on my parents' support either, and I just lost my job. On top of that, I live in a tiny studio. Everything seems to be against me, but I still can't bring myself to have an abortion. Are there any people here who would like to meet up in person? It would do me so much good. So far, I can barely even talk about it...

Wow, I'm really reading some awful things here. I thought I was the only one haha.

I'm 32 and have a little boy who's 3 now. We were together for almost 8 years, and it took us 3 years before I got pregnant (medical treatment at the hospital). The month before I got pregnant, he proposed to me, and we were going to get married in September 2019.

At 20 weeks pregnant, he decided to go for a "first love" because that was finally the right time for them, according to them. (Apparently they had always danced around each other, and she was married.) Later on, I think they reconnected when my ex congratulated me on our marriage and pregnancy... it's truly bizarre!

After 3 years of trying and finally being pregnant, I spent the rest of my pregnancy filled with sadness, disbelief, and especially loneliness. You really want to share those things with a partner. It was really overwhelming... especially with all the hormones, and I still had hope that it was just a fling and that I'd get my family... especially if my little boy was there. He came to the ultrasounds and was there during the birth.

When I had my son, everything in me switched to fighting mode, and me and my little one went for everything. It was the hardest period of my life so far. I really had to endure a lot from his side during the first year... But in the end, everything worked out!

My son adjusts well between the two houses, and things are going pretty well now.

My new boyfriend has been a super bonus dad from the start, and those two are almost inseparable. We're now trying for a baby of our own

The only issue I'm experiencing now is that my ex's girlfriend basically claims my child as her own and tells him to call her "mom." On the flip side, my boyfriend isn't really his dad either. I find it disrespectful and have made that clear, but so far, nothing has changed.

All in all... being a single mom has made me even stronger. It was really tough, but once you have your baby in your arms... you do everything for them and push your own happiness/sorrow as far into the background as you can.

It's so nice to know you're not alone, even though I haven't been single for 1.5 years now.

When my daughter was 10 months old (I was 22 then), my ex and I broke up. He was addicted to drugs, abused me, cheated on me, and lied about where he was.
I didn't dare leave him, but I still chose myself and my little girl.
I have to say that I found it really extremely hard, and I know very well what loneliness feels like.

After 2 years, I met my boyfriend, with whom I now live together and we're working towards a little one

Only now do I know how it feels when the other person is really there for you and does everything for you. I'm so, so, so grateful to him every day!

And about my ex... we've had a year of support services because there's no reasoning with him and he's aggressive. The support services also see that the father is not making sense. Now I'm going to start a lawsuit for sole custody! It's all quite exciting!!
Fortunately, I have the best support ever, my great love Joris!

I was in a similar situation a few years ago when I accidentally got pregnant and the father disappeared. A good friend suggested looking for a pink co-father for support, which I did through typical pages (meerdangewenst & co) and it was the best decision. He helped me through the pregnancy, was there after the birth, and my son, now a toddler, spends a lot of time with him and loves his co-father very much.
