left behind during pregnancy

Hi ladies,

I got married last February. We had been together for 2.5 years. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant.
My husband has decided he wants to divorce. I haven't spoken to him since the beginning of April.

He's staying in the house, and I'm staying with family with my two other kids.

I'm so incredibly sad! I don't understand it and I'm not getting any answers.

Pregnant on my own. It's so hard for me.

Has anyone been through this?

    Wow, that’s intense!

You must feel like the ground has been pulled out from under your feet.

So you’re pregnant and he just leaves you hanging—totally understandable that you’re sad and have unanswered questions. Do you know why he left, or does he not even answer that? It’s scandalous that he’s still in the house while you and your kids are staying with family. Not very decent of him!

Girl, sending you lots of strength and courage!

Mavami to you too—glad you’re happy now, and hopefully soon for you!

    For you both.

I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend has also left me hanging. I had just moved in with him (I canceled my apartment, sold my furniture, etc.) and a week after I had unpacked everything at his place, he told me I had to move back because he wanted to end the relationship. That very day, he had sent me a message in the afternoon saying he loved me and that he'd be home in the evening. But then he came home and said he wanted to stop. Meanwhile, I've already heard various stories that he was like this in his previous relationships and that he wasn't trustworthy. I had even caught him once driving to a female friend to 'chat' and he had lied about it. He also texted a lot with other women. His ex-girlfriend cheated on him 7 times in 3 years. So apparently he just can't help himself.
But I'm now inconsolable and seriously in the dumps, because I'm completely alone right now. All the plans I had for 'the perfect little family' are suddenly gone. I feel so alone and can't really enjoy my pregnancy anymore...

    Hi Annick,

    Where are you staying?
You're probably around 35 weeks now. Who's all behind you?
    And how old are you?

    Love x

Hi, I was also left in the lurch and kicked out, so I know what you're going through. It's really tough, but things will really work out for us.

I was also left in the lurch, I'm now 9 weeks pregnant. We wanted to start a little family, at least I thought he meant it, but as it turns out I'm not pregnant and the baby is definitely not his because I'm a cheating 'b... and s...' so God only knows who the father is. I'm blocked on everything, can't reach him anywhere. In the end, he came along for the ultrasound to see if I was 'really' pregnant and how far along I was. But 2 days later I was just a dirty b... again who isn't pregnant according to him, and that after the ultrasound? So yes, I know how you feel being left in the lurch during your pregnancy. And oh yeah, I already had a miscarriage with him, but according to him it wasn't a miscarriage but something I made up while he was there, that was when I was 7 weeks.

Hi there, my experience is different from yours because I'm a man and I was dismissed as a victim. My girlfriend wanted to break up when she was 6 months pregnant, I didn't want that, she blocked me everywhere. My daughter was born, I don't know, because she didn't tell me. He spent 5 weeks in the hospital. Now he won't let me see my daughter, but I would do anything for my child. I'm waiting for the verdict. I want a fresh start. I don't trust everyone. I know someone who was left in the lurch. I can also trust.
