Negative and positive

Hi everyone,
I did a test this afternoon and in my opinion it was positive. I did another one two hours later and that one was negative.
Has anyone experienced this before? What could this mean?

    Did you use the same urine? If you're not very far along in your pregnancy, you don't have much hcg yet. If you drink a lot or just normally, your hcg levels might be a bit lower, which could cause a negative result. I'd suggest testing again tomorrow morning with first-morning urine. Or wait another day—waiting only gives you clearer results! Good luck!

    Thanks for your message.
    I used a new urine sample, but now when I look really closely, I see a faint line on my other test.
    It’s strange how much difference there can be when it’s only been 2 hours in reality.
    At first I thought the blue lines were just evaporation lines.

    Yeah, that's right, but I still started doubting if it was really possible. My IUD was removed on December 23rd, and I immediately started the pill.
    A few days later, I wasn't feeling too great, so I thought I'd take a test just to be sure, and yup!
    I'm actually quite startled by it.

    I had that too, the first one was darker than the second. But that was because I tested the first one in the morning and the second one in the afternoon (I had drunk tea and water by then). Maybe that's the case for you too. I think so.

    That could indeed also be the case.
    But it's better, I see a light line on my second test too, but it's almost nothing compared to my first one.

    Test later or tomorrow. I had that too. I thought it was negative, but it came positive because I didn't have much hcg and I had already drunk a lot. The line was almost gone for me too.

    Just did another test but it's completely blank now.
    I don't get it at all anymore, maybe I should've used morning urine.

    That's very sensible. But maybe it's an early miscarriage? Because I don't think you ever get a positive test out of nowhere.

    Hi Miepje,
    The test is super positive.
    I’d sleep on it for a couple of nights and try again.. “just like that” getting a positive test doesn’t happen.
    It could also be an early miscarriage, indeed.

    Yeah, I also slept badly last night and tested after my third pee today.
    The positive was from yesterday morning and the slightly less intense one was from this afternoon, so now it's blank.
