pregnancy test

Did you take 3x Pergnyl 1500?
Because from my own experience, I know that the last Pregnyl shot stays in your body for another 6 or 7 days.

I hope you still get a nice second line on your test after the test date.

Hi Lucky, thanks for your answer. It's true that Pregnyl can stay in your system for up to 6 days, but in my case, it clears out faster because I tested with the first Pregnyl and the test was negative after 3 days. That's why I was wondering if this test, taken 4 days after the Pregnyl, is really positive or a false positive. Can it vary whether the Pregnyl breaks down in 3 days or longer? The hospital said I could test 4 days after the last Pregnyl injection, so I'm a bit confused. I guess I'll just have to wait until the test date.

    Best, Carla

Carla, I think you mean April 30th instead of May 30th ..
As for the Pregnyl, you can also test it out by doing a cheap pregnancy test every day if you really want to know.. but I get that you get confused seeing a line every time, maybe it's just your own hCG..
Lots of love and hopefully a great result soon

    Good afternoon Lotus,
    Thanks for your reply.
And yes, I mean April 30th, hihi, and I’m indeed doing a test every day now, and I see it getting darker and not lighter, so I hope this is really hCG. It would be wonderful after 10 years and 9 IVF cycles. I’ll definitely keep you updated and hopefully have a nice positive test on Sunday?
    Greetings, Carla

Hi Carla, how are you? How are your tests? Still looking good, I hope.

    Hey Lotus,
Woke up early again today and did two different tests, both clearly positive. One day before my official test date. I'll do a digital test later, but I'm thinking about tomorrow. I think I can be a little happy, what do you think?
It's sweet that you thought of me, by the way.
    Love, Carla

    Thank you, Lotus
    I still can't believe it
It feels so unreal. Tomorrow I'll call the hospital for the follow-up appointment. This is the first time I can call the hospital with a positive result; I really have to pinch myself. Just a quick question: do you know if they do a blood test too? Because I've had my last 5 IVFs in Belgium, and there a blood test is standard.
    Love, Carla

You can ask about it, but it's not standard in the Netherlands... but super that it worked out, girl

    Hi Lotus,
I'm really so happy. I thought it would never work out after so many years and so much disappointment, but they say perseverance pays off, hehe. I'll check with the hospital tomorrow.

Hey Lotus, even though I'm still terrified, I'm trying to really enjoy this little miracle and stay positive.
We're just going to assume that everything will keep going well.
    Love, Carla

    Hey ladies!
    I'm back from being away
And busy again trying for a baby with IVF, number 13. Now I have 2 embryos transferred.
I'm using Pregnyl for support like every time, and I have experience with it and know that Pregnyl 1500 leaves my system super fast, max 3 days, then you see it get lighter and on day 3 the test is negative. Now I had the 2nd injection last Sunday and of course went testing again, and instead of these running out, they are actually rising. Could this not just be Pregnyl? Or did I get it wrong now? Could this fluctuation happen? I do the tests every time at the same time and make sure I've drunk almost nothing until now. I hope these rising tests are also with my own hCG. Does anyone maybe know more about this? Would love to hear what you think.
