    Wow, what a difference! Love is the most important thing you can give your child, and if, say, breastfeeding gets swallowed up by everything else and doesn't work out, it can take up all your time and leave no time for attention. Then breastfeeding isn't good anymore either... A child doesn't remember whether they were breastfed, but they do remember whether they received the love and attention they needed, and that makes all the difference for their development

    I've lost both my mother and my mother-in-law, and it feels incredibly heavy now with a second child. You really want that validation from your mother.
