Pregnant?

Hi there,

After a lot of hesitation, I've decided to share my story here, and I hope there are people who can answer my questions and clear up my confusion.

I've had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (now my ex) several times. I have PCOS, which means I'm less fertile.

For the past few weeks, I've been experiencing a lot of symptoms that could also be related to pregnancy. I'm almost two weeks late. Now, that doesn't mean much given my PCOS, but I've had brown discharge for days, some light bright red blood, and some pinkish discharge. My intestines are protesting loudly and feeling very much in the way. I'm often dizzy and suddenly feel very nauseous. I've had tender nipples and sensitive, bloated breasts. My belly felt swollen, and now it feels quite heavy. I have a strong craving for foods I wouldn't normally eat, and I'm hungrier in general. But then I quickly feel nauseous again.

I've taken a few tests in the hope that the uncertainty would decrease, but they've all been negative, and I'm still wondering if I might actually be pregnant. I'm experiencing a lot of emotional ups and downs. I just notice that I'm reacting differently and experiencing symptoms that I haven't had this severely before. It's a very undefined, weird feeling, and I have no idea what to do with myself.

I hope someone here knows what's going on... I'm not sure where to look anymore. One positive thing is that I can get a blood test to clearly determine whether I'm pregnant or not.

I think the only thing that can ease your uncertainty is the result of your blood test. Period symptoms look a lot like pregnancy symptoms, so unfortunately, there's not much to say about the symptoms, especially with PCOS
When can you get your blood drawn? I'm rooting for you and hope for a nice hCG level in your blood

    Hi,

I'll pick up the form as soon as possible to get the shot, so I hope I'll know more next week.
Thanks for your response, I'm really hoping for clarity too

I hope you get some clarity soon. This uncertainty is so draining...

I'm crossing my fingers for you that it's a pregnancy (if that's what you'd like). Or that it's just a false alarm (if you'd prefer that )

Had my blood drawn today, and I can call for the results tomorrow afternoon!
I'm so incredibly nervous, what if it's negative after all..

    Unfortunately, it's negative after all.

I still find it strange why I had some brown discharge and these symptoms for a few days??

    Yeah, really..
I think I'll just ask the doctor about Clomid too..
