I'd say, follow your gut before you regret it. Maybe you need to adjust your life to a new little one. If your heart really speaks that way, maybe you want that too?
Good luck!
I’m 13 years older than my little sister.
I thought it was super nice to finally have a sister.
Besides that, of course, I got spoiled again because I was an only child.
But I really wanted a sister.
Only my mom had a hard time when I hit puberty; she was busy with my sister, who was then in toddler/preschool age, and she noticed that.
She kind of lost track of me as I gradually came home later, got bad friends, said I’d put my sister to bed, had her hands full with a toddler and a teenager.
But anyway, I am and still am super happy and proud of my sister.
Only my mom said it wasn’t easy having a child in the age of puberty and a growing toddler.
For me, it was nice that she was busy with my sister because that gave me more freedom.
That was my experience, how we experienced it.
Greetings, Madelene
I wouldn't do it myself anymore. Finally my freedom! When they're at that age, I want to enjoy myself and go shopping with my teenagers. I can't do that anymore if there's a baby around.
But I do think it would be nice for your daughter to have a little sister or brother.
