After 7 months, the baby's head circumference is going backwards! What now?

And where on this site can I log in?
I can find the registration page, but no login...
Probably my fault, but I'd love to know where that is.

Hi Mirjam, no panic! Does that mean your son is also drinking less from you now?
I breastfed for 11 months and didn't want to pump more than 2 times at work either, and not have stress about it. By the way, you're also allowed to pump during working hours until 9 months (if you have a nice employer, maybe longer).
What I didn't have enough of in terms of pumped breast milk, I supplemented with formula. So for one bottle, you could do 175 cc of breast milk and then top up what was left with formula for the second bottle. My son got around 7 months:
7.00 breast milk and a sandwich
    10.00 fruit with tea/water
12.00 breast milk and a sandwich, and at the daycare breast milk in a bottle with maybe some extra formula if I didn't pump enough.
    14.30/15.00 water/tea with a biscuit or ID
    17.00 vegetable puree
18.30 breast milk and then to bed, and then he sometimes woke up at night or slept around the clock..
    Hopefully, you can use this..

Sorry, I meant Miriam, of course.
After 7 months is also the time to gradually reduce breastfeeding and slowly replace it with solid food. Then breast milk is no longer the main food, and that's also a shift in your mind..I remember that very well..saying goodbye a bit..even though you don't stop right away, of course ; )

    Hi AM,

Thanks so much for responding. Your story is really clear.
I think I need to put a bit more structure into his daytime feeding times.

In the morning he gets some fruit after his breastfeed, but I don't really have much time to have a proper breakfast together.
We both have to be at work by 8 am. It takes about an hour before we're all ready, so eating a nice slice of bread is hard.

I also see that you're still breastfeeding 3 times a day at 7 months.
With us it goes like this:
7:00 bf and after getting dressed a piece of fruit
    11:00 bf
    15:00 bf
    18:00 veggies
    19:30 bf
    23:30 bottle with formula
    03:00 bf

Now I see there's still quite a bit of breastfeeding. I could replace the 11:00 one with tea and fruit.
Hopefully he'll start sleeping through the night soon, because that hasn't happened yet :-)
I'll try to play around with it.

    Thanks for your reply.

Hi! I pumped more towards the end of the 7th month, about 3 times.. so sometimes at night too.
But nothing is right or wrong when it comes to breastfeeding, you can give smaller sips more often just like you said when you're with him, and when he's with the babysitter he just gets your milk and can be supplemented.
The easy part of breastfeeding is that I give it in the morning before you go to work and the babysitter gives him his bread, that's how I do it.
