BV tastes different

Hi everyone,

Question. I've noticed that the pumped milk tastes different once I've thawed and warmed it. I first used the microwave (since the maternity nurse said this is okay now), then a small pan (au bain marie), and just now with a bottle warmer. Does this happen for others too?

Yeah, that’s normal. It’s mostly about the freezing; fridge milk doesn’t taste that different.
Some babies don’t like milk that’s been frozen, others (like my little girl) don’t care at all.

Yeah... same here. It changes a bit in taste and texture.
My son drinks it just fine, luckily!

I’d recommend not heating it in the microwave. If it goes wrong, you’ll lose all your food right away.

Oh yeah, and it heats up too quickly in the microwave, which causes nutrients to be lost.
It's better to first thaw it on the counter or in the fridge and then heat it up.
    Just a tip

Okay. So it's not my fault. Thanks for your responses.
