Breastfeeding struggle, and now...?

Hi,
I really need some help. My son started bottle feeding shortly after birth due to his weight. Now I'm trying to get him to breastfeed (again) but he absolutely refuses. I've tried several things (nipple shield, pumping first to get things going, giving a little bottle first, etc.) but nothing works. The lactation consultant also doesn't have any other solution. So now I'm pumping and giving him that in a bottle. I'm currently renting a pump but want to buy my own, but I can't figure out which one is best for full-time pumping.
So my question is:
Which pump should I buy for exclusive pumping?

Thanks for thinking along in advance

P.S. Pregnancy and memory... I've lost track of my WW for a moment, so I'm posting as a guest now.

Have you tried natural latch-on too? So not bringing your baby to the nipple, but letting him seek it himself? This works especially well in a lying-down position and your little one will latch on instinctively. Just Google it and see if it helps.

I have experience with the Avent Natural electric breast pump. I'm very happy with it! You can get it as a single or double pump. The Avent Natural hasn't been on the market for very long, but it has many good reviews.

I do have to say that if I had to pump more often, I'd start doubting breastfeeding because you're just doing two things at once. (My daughter is almost 7 months now.) First, you pump, then you give the bottle. That means pumping every 3 hours at first, then giving the bottle. Later it becomes every 4 hours.

And? Did you benefit from it in any way?

And how are things now? I'm really curious.

That's great to hear. I'm so glad about that. It's just so wonderful to be able to give that to your baby.
