Symptoms after IUI

On Wednesday 26/2 we had our first IUI. On Wednesday 3/4 I had an injection with Pregnyl 5000. Today is day 33 of my cycle, which normally lasts 33 days. Unfortunately, I have all the symptoms that signal my period (headache, cramps,...). Has anyone else experienced this and turned out to be pregnant anyway? Everything tells me it didn't work, but I'm looking for a little spark of hope somewhere.

    I had stomach pain too, both when I became pregnant and on all the occasions before when I wasn't. I can't say I felt different, except that a few days after the positive test, I was hanging over the toilet, throwing up. That's when I really started feeling pregnant.

    Kim, I understand you're desperately looking for a spark of hope. I had pain and cramps too, but that doesn't automatically mean it's not working. By the way, testing on day 33 is sometimes still too early for a reliable result. I'd wait a bit and then take a test, or call your GP for a blood test. Strength during this waiting period.
