Extreme loneliness / abandonment anxiety
CindyGuest ·
Dear moms,
I have twins who will turn two in September. Since they were five months old, they’ve started to become clingy. This is still the case to this day. It’s so intense that we can hardly go anywhere! If we’re at a birthday or something, they hold on to us like glue. After a while, they won’t let go either, but start crying until we’re back home. My social life is becoming so small because of this, and even a trip to my parents’ place is a drama. I’m starting to lose hope that things will ever get better. It’s really tough like this.. And it’s also a shame that our kids are known as mega cryers everywhere. I’d so love for them to play nicely or just do their own thing when we’re out. Does anyone relate to this? If so, do you have any tips on how we can put an end to this? Thanks in advance!
