My period really came through yesterday, unfortunately So on to the next round for me. How about you guys?

That's so sad, Veer... Glad there's clarity now and you can start a new round. I'm rooting for you!
Nothing to see here for now, but I have a feeling I'm back to a 30-day cycle.
  3. Kathe #43

Oops, went too fast. I just wanted to say that means I should be getting my period today. So, wait and see again!

Hey Veer, just wanted to say here that I got my period today... Sad, but I'm trying to stay positive for the next round... Lots of good luck this round, huh!

Aww no! It sounded so hopeful for you. Onwards to the next round. I always feel really down, especially during my period. But after that, it gets a bit better, all those female hormones too he Hope it hits for us in the next round!!

Veer, how are you doing by now? I’m now on day 9 post-ovulation and I’ve got some kind of bleeding again. In the morning when wiping, there were bright red streaks of blood. Then during the day and this evening I just felt it coming. And then I spotted pink-red discharge. Unlike my previous cycle, where it was very minimal and more brownish discharge, this time it’s completely different. I really hope this is implantation bleeding. I haven’t experienced it like this at least since I stopped using contraception. I hope so! Still 5 days to wait before testing. I hope it works out for you this month!

Exciting, Kathe! Do you feel anything? Is there a lot of red? I've got more creamy discharge now, but I also feel like it's not quite right. We're waiting until Tuesday, though.

Hey Mila, in the morning it wasn't too bad, and during the day I noticed my discharge became pinkish. By evening it was more abundant and redder. Exactly the white discharge mixed with some blood. Now this morning there's nothing again. Sorry for the details, but I want to explain it to you as best as I can ;-)! It's really a color and type of discharge I haven't experienced before. I only stopped my period 3 months ago, so yes, it could still be something else. It would be very strange if this is the start of my period. I had a positive ovulation test on the 16th, and with a 30-day cycle, I ovulated on the 18th or 19th. I don't feel much anymore, but since I'm paying attention, I do feel some pulling sensations and mini-cramps around my uterus. But it could just as well come from my intestines, and because I want it so much, I'm imagining feeling it there. But no other notable things actually... This morning I was a bit calmer and I'm thinking: we'll see, it could just be nothing. So I'm waiting patiently until Wednesday. And why do you think it's nothing? You never know, girl, there are many women who feel nothing when they're pregnant in those first days, weeks!

Hi Kathe! I just saw your messages now, I was on vacation and busy with work. How did it go! It's already July 16th. I'm now waiting for my contractions. Just now I had some creamy white discharge that was also stretchy, very strange. Thinking it might be the start of my period? I'm really curious to hear from you!

Mila, how did it go for you?! What was the cream-like discharge a sign of? Hope you're pregnant!
  11. Mila Guest #51

Hi Veer, unfortunately, I was two days late and got my period after all! How about you?
  12. Veer started this #52

Ughh no, annoying, really. Next round then? Where are you in your cycle? I still have to wait for ovulation. But it's a bit tricky whether it's Thursday or Sunday. If I count from the first day I saw blood, ovulation is Thursday. But if I count from the day it really started flowing, it's Sunday. So wait a bit. Though I've been urinating a lot since last week. And since today, there's creamy white discharge when wiping and sometimes also in streaks, which you'd expect before your egg.
  13. Mila Guest #53

Hi Veer! Yeah, that sucks. It's always so frustrating when you're just past your due date and then get your period! But I had that last month too, so I hadn't tested yet. I'm now on CD11, spotted some fertile mucus yesterday too, so I think my egg might come out on Thursday?

That's exciting for you too! How many days did your period last? I also count the first red streak as day 1, but usually it really starts flowing well during the night for me.
  14. Veer started this #54

Yeah, that’s really frustrating! Oh, so your egg is indeed between now and Thursday. Exciting!
My cycle is approx 24 days. Or do you really mean the bleeding? That’s usually approx 5 days.
I went to the gynecologist last week and she said that you should take as cycle day 1 the first day that your period really flows. I often have 3 to 4 days of just a few drops of blood and then it really starts. I’ll just wait. But I have to say it’s difficult. The more you hold back, the more impatient you become.
  15. Mila Guest #55

Oh interesting Veer! But how is your cycle then? Three days of spotting, so that's day 22/23/24? And then five days of period and then around day 10 your egg? Exciting for you being so close to ovulation. Noticed anything different? And why did you go to your gynecologist if I may ask?

Yes, I think my egg too. Would work out well on Thursday, we're currently doing intimacy every other day and Thursday is also a day for that!
  16. Veer started this #56

Yeah, usually it's 22/23/34 drops. And really push through with 25. I've been counting as cycle day 1 the day it fully started, so then my ovulation day is Sunday. If I go by the first drop, then ovulation is tomorrow! But I'll stick to what the gynecologist said. Usually I get a positive test on day 11 and then my egg follows. But sometimes it's later.

I went to the gynecologist because I'm a bit worried that it's taking so long. I know we haven't been trying for very long (this is attempt 5, of which 4 are serious attempts), but because of certain fertility issues in the family, together with the GP we decided to go see someone.

End of this week or next week if my period starts, I'll have an internal ultrasound to check my follicles. That's quite nerve-wracking! But secretly I hope it's already successful now and that it won't be necessary...
  17. Mila Guest #57

Yeah, who knows, it might just be a hit! But do you already feel anything? And they do that test right after your period? Seems pretty nerve-wracking to me because you're getting some important news, when you normally assume everything's fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's not necessary, haha
  18. Mila Guest #58

    Käthe, how are you doing?
  19. Veer started this #59

Unfortunately, I had some pink spotting yesterday and bright red blood today. So my period is continuing. It's a bit strange that I had a lot of mucus (TMI, sorry) before I lost any drops of blood. The ultrasound needs to happen between CD 2 and 5. I find it quite nerve-wracking; I've never had an internal ultrasound before.
