Luteal phase 9 days

Hi everyone.
After a stillbirth in April, we're trying again. Now I'm seeing with ovulation tests that my luteal phase is 9 days. The ovulation day varies between day 16, 21, and 20.

The internet is vague, and my gynecologist has never heard of it. Could this be a problem with implantation? What do you gynecologists say?

The following isn't medically proven, but it worked for me:

I think I had estrogen dominance (Google the symptoms, I had quite a few).
I took DIM complex from De Tuinen until my ovulation, and my LH went from 9 to 12 days.
Ideally, DIM should help speed up hormone balance. I only tried this for one cycle, so I don't know what happens in the next one now that I've stopped taking it.

Thanks, monkey! Advice I can actually use, that's so nice! I'll look it up.

I'll let you know how my next cycle goes. Although I secretly hope it won't come at all, of course.

Haha, sure! Actually, I hope not for you either. May I ask what symptoms you had that made you link it to estrogen dominance? I read a lot about MS issues, endometriosis, etc., but I don’t have any of those.

Intense period, sore breasts, yeast infection, hormone-induced migraine, PAP3 on the smear test, and weight gain. So quite a few haha.

Oops, that sounds like a heavy battery. Especially with the migraines and sore breasts. I understand you're hoping your cycle doesn't show up—it gives you a bit of a break at least. For the Pap smear and yeast infection, it's wise to see your GP or gynecologist; those don't just go away on their own. Strength to you.
