Hi everyone,
Who else is feeling so tired from breastfeeding? I'm glad I still have some leave so I can take a nap in the afternoon. With my first, I was also really exhausted from it and only got my energy back once I stopped...

How old is your little one?

I actually think it's amazing. It really is something between mom and child. But what is true is that I don't work and you do.

Yeah, how long have you been doing it now and how long did you give it last time?
I'm currently breastfeeding twins, and I notice I need to eat more and also really focus on getting good rest.
In theory, breastfeeding actually has benefits where you can get energy from it—for example, you really have to sit to feed, you can't have someone else do it: you get a little rest.
Additionally, the hormones released during feeding might help you fall asleep faster after night feeds; your sleep becomes deep again right away, if I remember correctly.
How is your night rest? Can you sleep through, or does your baby still wake up?

Heart, how does it feel with twins? Congrats again. Seems tough but also super fun haha.

As heart says, you can sit comfortably. My little one is 3 months old and I don't find it tiring. I really think it's a special experience. Something only I can give my son

Lovely to read your responses! And congratulations on your babies too. My little girl is now six weeks old. With the oldest, I breastfed until she was seven months old. I really wanted to, because it feels great to give your child the best. But I also feel like I want to be full of energy again. The youngest still doesn't sleep through the night, which might be affecting it. Otherwise, I'm sleeping pretty well, it's nice...

Ah how cute. Congratulations, girl. 7 months isn't too bad, I think. But as I already mentioned, working while pregnant is pretty tough.
