Gender ultrasound

Hi ladies,
Had the gender ultrasound today and after expecting a son, we’re now expecting a daughter!
Cried tears of joy because this was our big dream, but then the uncertainty set in—what if the lady who was so certain (and even said we could start buying clothes now) was wrong after all?
Terrible having all that doubt during pregnancy!
Love!

Have you had your 20-week ultrasound yet?
I did a gender determination at 16 weeks, and they said I'm having a girl, but just to be safe, I waited with buying girl stuff until the 20-week scan
Last week I did an extra 3D ultrasound and heard 3 times now that it's a girl, so I believe it
You can always do an extra scan if that puts your mind at ease.

    Hi!
    Wow, congratulations! That’s so exciting!
I’d also suggest waiting for the next ultrasound, just to be sure.
We did the NIPT test, so our baby’s sex was already determined via DNA—can’t miss that.
But if we hadn’t taken the test and had to rely on an ultrasound, I’d still wait for the next one to be absolutely certain.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

That's so amazing that you already have the ultrasound done, mama~28. I can imagine the doubts are kicking in now. I'd wait until 20 weeks too, like Alissa25 does. Then you'll have certainty and won't have to guess. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!
