Feeling nauseous now....

Hey girls,

I've been feeling incredibly nauseous for the past few days..
This morning it was so bad that I literally couldn't eat, smell anything, etc., not even chewing gum.

I have an office job. And I'm lucky with my spot because I'm usually alone...
This morning I was calmly writing an email and, sure enough, suddenly..the vomit bucket was called upon..because, yes..the stairs down and the hallway through.. I just couldn't make it..
I am quite nauseous, but actually throwing up from it was really gross..
Most of you probably know this..what do you do about it? Because I wake up around 5 with the nausea, and by half past 6 I have to get out.. but oh well..I can't even get a cracker down...

It's still a sign, right? That the little miracle is growing after all...

Oh my, you've got it all figured out already! Unfortunately, I was also really nauseous and have an office job. Luckily, I didn't have to take many sick days, but sometimes I couldn't avoid it because I was vomiting so much that I couldn't even get into the car. Fortunately, they were very understanding... but you feel miserable and partly guilty because you can't do your job properly either... (I did have a standard toothbrush/toothpaste in my bag .... a tip from the dentist, don't brush your teeth right after vomiting otherwise you'll brush off the enamel).

As for eating... well, try to have small bites of certain things now and then. A piece of apple... a slice of chicken breast... apple sauce... quark? It was also important that you keep drinking! Some found it helpful to eat a dry cracker before getting up... but that didn't help me because I still had to vomit, and eating pieces of cracker really hurt. But maybe it'll help you! It's a bit of trial and error, I'm afraid

Oh, I heard great things about ginger root/ginger tea... I didn't try it myself because things started improving for me around then. But many women were enthusiastic about it

You can get Emesafene through your GP. It's said to help many women a lot. Unfortunately, it didn't help me, but I think I'm an exception. It's absolutely not harmful to take, so just ask for it quickly!

    Strength!
(and at some point, the vomiting gets better :angel

I know that feeling, Lies. Those guilt feelings are heavy. I was also in a meeting and suddenly had to go to the toilet, really unpleasant. Hopefully, it'll get a bit calmer with the nausea soon. Hang in there.
