negative test, feeling hopeless

Hey hey!

I'm kind of pulling my hair out...
I've been off the pill for a year now and it just hasn't been working out.
Since I stopped the pill, I've always had a 27-day cycle that I could set my clock by.
Until now, on 07/12 I was supposed to get my period and since then I haven't had a single bleed.
I took a test on Monday and it was negative.
I took another one this morning and it was negative again.
I really don't know what's going on.. could the heat be causing my period to be late or something?

I do have a lot of white discharge, lower abdominal pain and a bloated feeling..
Sorry for so many questions

I'm feeling a bit desperate

    Hey Fleurtje,

    About 10% of all pregnant women only get a positive test after 7 days past their cycle. So just wait a little bit... I'll be rooting for you!

    Maybe you could get a blood test done to be sure, or else just wait and see what Floor says..

    Okay, I'll do it again and get a new test on Monday
    Thanks for the replies...
    I have a cold now, could that be the reason since I'm overdue?
    Some people say yes, others say it can't have any influence...

    I was always taught... 10 days due to the hormone that's more present in your urine.
