Hi!
I had a D&C on July 13th because there was no heartbeat or growth at +/- 10 weeks of pregnancy. Probably stopped at 6 weeks.
Well, I took a test on Nov 2-11 because I felt different. And it was faint positive.
On the morning of Nov 3, another faint positive test..see profile pic.
Well, I'm due to get my period next week so I'm testing a bit early.
But I'm wondering if the hCG hormone can still be in my urine from the miscarriage? Or is that really too long ago?
I also took an ovulation test, that's the purple one on the profile pic.. that also showed a faint positive.. while I really did feel my ovulation and fertile days.

So I'm curious what you all think!

    I'd think that after 4 months the hormones have cleared from your body. Plus, your test is positive, so I'd say you're pregnant! Test again in 2 days to see if the line becomes clearer, then you'll know for sure

    This has nothing to do with four months ago, okay! I’d still test on Monday just to be sure, but I think you’re very pregnant!!

    Thanks for your replies, ladies. I’m really tired too. Yesterday around 8 PM my eyes were already closing. I feel bloated and get hungry quickly. Haha but I’m not really daring to be happy. I still don’t quite believe it. We had sex before and after ovulation.. and I clearly noticed those fertile days.. it was on Oct 22.. Oct 2 was the first day of my last period and I’ve found out I have a long cycle.
    Oohhhh it’s so exciting/scary..

    Did a sneaky early test anyway and within 1 min a faint line already appeared. It's also a bit clearer than Friday morning . Still positive though!

    Thank you! We're just really scared that I'll still get my period this week... pffh hahh, the tension and uncertainty are really not fun at all!

    Yes, sweetheart.. so unreal..
    I slept badly last night.
    Somewhere I think my period will just keep going this week.. even though that shouldn't be possible at all if everything is okay.
    Haha I'll never test that early again
    Is everything okay with you? I see you're already 10 weeks.. nice!

    That's the downside indeed! I know that during my previous pregnancy I kept thinking once not having my period, 3 times not having my period, so special. Now I don't know any better, I haven't had it in so long.
    Yes, things are good here, it's a twin with risk of TTTS so strangely enough I'm looking forward to the 2nd trimester. There's always something going on.
    But congratulations anyway! I can imagine that after your miscarriage you're also a bit less carefree!

    Oh wow, that's pretty intense.. I just read up on it. How do you deal with something like that? Seems really hard to me!

    Merel twin-to-twin syndrome, then one gives the other too much blood and has too little themselves, with consequences for both.
    Mb87 it's 'only' 10-15% of pregnancies, hope I'm in the 85%! And if not, there are luckily treatments.

    Yeah, we're just hoping for that! They're keeping a close eye on things! And what kind of treatment should I be thinking about? Because that'll probably need to happen before the babies are born, right? Oh my, it's so nerve-wracking.

    That's right, laser treatment of the placenta, they seal off the blood vessels. That bar looks great in your profile picture!
