Stroller and small lift

Hi everyone,

I live in a cozy apartment on the 3rd floor. There's only one downside, and that's the elevator. It's really tiny. Just to give you an idea of how small it is, it's already almost too small for two thin people. I'm pregnant and I'm stressing out about how I'm going to manage getting a stroller and baby into the elevator. There's no option to leave the elevator on the ground floor. How would you handle this? Do you have any practical tips?

Thanks in advance!

So the second to last sentence should have been "stroller" instead of "elevator".

    Oh, that's impractical!
So the stroller can't go downstairs... What kind of stroller do you want? A big one with a carrycot on top? Or one with a Maxi-Cosi because you're not going to walk for hours? With a Maxi-Cosi on top... you just click it off and fold the stroller in.
A stroller with a carrycot... then you can pick one where you can fold the handle up... that saves some space...but then the carrycot + stroller has to fit in the elevator.
Or no stroller but a baby wrap... that takes up less space.
If you know someone in your area with a stroller... ask if they can come by for a test! I don't know where you live, but that would seem like a small effort to me.
    Good luck!

We don't have an elevator at all. I always left the stroller in the trunk of the car and lifted the baby up.

Leetje sounds the most feasible, but I can imagine you wouldn't be too happy with that. Lifting a heavy stroller and a baby isn't exactly fun. Maybe a compact stroller with a Maxi-Cosi is the solution. Then you can easily lift it in the elevator or up the stairs. Just check how heavy the strollers you're considering are.
