@Koala: letrozole is indeed a kind of Clomid. It stimulates ovulation and seems to have fewer side effects than Clomid. I had a really rough day today and yesterday. Everything irritates me, and I'm drowning in self-pity. Last cycle, I really thought I was pregnant: I felt so different from previous months. The period that eventually broke put an end to that dream. I'm noticing how angry I am: angry at the people around me who suddenly get pregnant and then start giving advice (which I definitely don't want), angry at my boyfriend whose sperm turned out to be fantastic (and thus made me feel like this is all my body's fault), angry at myself because I'm so led by sadness and let things get to me that weren't meant to be hurtful (for example, when my friend's kids refer to the time when their parents were still a couple—it makes me realize that another woman managed to get pregnant by him twice in quick succession, while I've been trying for over a year and a half now). Sometimes I think I really need help with this... -

Hey Sannie,
This sounds so familiar.. you describe exactly how I felt on the weekend. I was (or am..) angry at all the pregnant women around me. How dare they boast so loudly about how smoothly things went! Then I think "how tactless, you don't know what the recipient of your message is going through".. And I love them, really, but I just can't shake off this feeling. Even though I used to ask about possible pregnancies all the time without thinking twice.
I also got almost hysteratic when I read about the baby in the trash.. why is it granted to some people and not to me (us)!!?
By the way, I had a lot of hope last round because it was the first time with hormones. Then I don't understand what could go wrong.. but yeah, no fertilization for me, especially with that lower sperm quality.
Also having a frustrating day here because my husband's wound isn't healing fast enough.. my ovulation will be in about ten days and I'm afraid we'll have to skip a round

Veraaa says something really beautiful:
Someone once told me... letting go is different from holding on... I think that's a lovely thought.
It's normal to think about it a lot, but to think about it positively. Also what someone else here said: every month it fails is one day closer to the moment it will succeed.
Telling people around you helps others pay a bit more attention to what they say to you. How many times did we have to hear: "now it's your turn, right?" I could have exploded at those moments.
Why not take a language course? And don't focus too much on other people around you who are getting pregnant. It's discouraging each time, but your time will come
Maybe you could get checked out, and your husband too. So you're sure there's no medical issue. That's one less thing to obsess over.
