    Hey,

That's great that you can get the tests done so quickly! Have you also started with that diet now?

I'm indeed just waiting a bit longer... Hopefully our patience will be rewarded this month!

    Love

@wipeout: I happened to have a lady last week who tested negative on day 14 and positive on day 16 after ovulation.
I myself tested negative on day 14 and positive on day 15. Maybe a late implantation or a slightly later egg, and you're testing a bit too early.

The last day someone tested positive with my guidance was 18 days after ovulation. Before that, everything was negative... the baby implanted late and hcg was produced slowly. Everything is fine, just low hcg throughout the cycle.

    Good luck

    Hey Samantha,

I'm not sure exactly when my ovulation was... I'm assuming it was about 14 days ago...

I'll just wait and see. The same goes for the little devils still visiting this week, which I definitely don't expect! Hihihihihi

    I'll keep you posted!

Just venting some frustrations.......just saw on FB that someone who never wanted a child at all....... Totally unexpected and unplanned, but after getting used to it, we're happy about it grrrrrrrrr..... How frustrating that someone who never wanted a child is now pregnant, while we've been trying for half a year already.......

    Our time will come
  5. Ster #105

I totally get it, I sometimes have a lot of trouble with that too. Very frustrating.

Thank you for your reply! I feel a bit less alone in thinking this way now

    Hi ladies,

Especially when I'm on my period, I also feel bad when other pregnant women are around. I can't even watch TV with pregnant women then. My brother and his wife had also suddenly become pregnant and really had to get used to it. I got a bit angry at the time. I told my brother, "You can tell me, but not to other people; you can really hurt them with this." A few weeks later, they were absolutely thrilled that they were pregnant, and now my niece is already 1 year old. I can also get so angry when people want to have an abortion because it doesn't work out. I'm completely against it. But that's a different discussion.

So I understand your feelings too!

    Big hug

    Hi ladies,

I've reached day 31 of my cycle by now... Since this morning I've had a bit of old blood when wiping (sorry for the details), so not too much... No cramps either... Just occasional little twinges in my groin.

So we're just waiting and seeing, but I'm becoming a bit less positive that it might have worked out this cycle... I'll keep you posted!

How are things going for you all?
  9. Wipeout #109

Oh no, period again... Even though I thought I had a lot of symptoms this time.

    On to next month!

    Hi ladies,

I'm new here and would love to discuss things like this with women who are also trying to conceive.
I stopped the pill in March 2012 and really started trying on May 1st (first using protection, to let the hormones leave my body). Well, that wasn't actually necessary; I got my first little period in December. Then again at the end of January, a bit heavier, but I didn't ovulate until the end of February. Now last week, March 16th, again, with the same symptoms.
Sore nipples, stomach ache, sensitive uterus, tired and emotional. Does anyone else recognize this?
Also, my temp is finally going up this month. So I've been trying for almost a year now and it's still not regular. It does cause some stress when nothing happens again and again!
Wishing you all lots of success with conceiving!
  12. Wipeout #112

    Hey Marjolein,

I’ve got a fairly regular cycle, but the last two months have been a bit longer... How could Clomid help me? I do have ovulation, because I tested with ovulation strips for a while.

I’d love to hear from you.

    And welcome, Jopie!
  13. Mommy #113

    Thank you!
Did I read that you have a regular cycle? What symptoms do you experience during ovulation and menstruation?

    Greetings!
  14. Wipeout #114

    Hang in there, Jopie,

I have a fairly regular period, luckily! I don't feel anything at all during ovulation, except for slightly different discharge.....
Before my period, I always have sore breasts, and now that we're trying to conceive, of course it's even more! This month I had sore breasts, or I thought I did, gurgling intestines, a bloated belly, everything tasted better, thought my sense of smell was better, and so on and so on ... By the way, I've been without my IUD for over 1.5 years now, so I don't have hormones still leaving my body.

When do you think you'll have to get your period again? Crazy, right, all these symptoms, don't let them get to you! I've declared myself pregnant countless times

    Love,
  15. Mommy #115

    Hi Wipeout,

It's nice having such a regular cycle; mine is still a bit irregular.
It's funny how symptoms can differ so much from woman to woman, right? I can really feel my ovulation. Physical changes for sure. But at the same time, it's so confusing! I used to read a lot about what others experience, but that doesn't help me at all since everyone reacts differently. So now I'm trying to really recognize my own "signs".

Which phase of your cycle are you in right now? I expect my period around Sunday-Monday, with Easter. The only real difference this month is that I'm keeping a high temperature and I'm not feeling "chaggie" yet haha. I do have cravings for all sorts of things... but that doesn't mean anything, of course.

Well, you can doubt yourself so much, right! I find it strange that nature regulates this, but well, we'll just have to wait patiently.
Good luck, girl, I'll keep you posted!
    Love, Joy
  16. Wipeout #116

    Hey Joy,

It's definitely weird that we all have such different symptoms. So glad you can feel your ovulation! For me, it's really a guess when it's happening..... I'll have to start using ovulation tests again this month, maybe that'll work!

I'm on my period right now... I'm on day 6 of my cycle... So I'll start using ovulation tests on Monday!

Then the exciting days begin for you, when you're counting down! I'm rooting for you! When are you going to take a test?

    Love,
  17. Wipeout #117

    Hey Joy,

I did use ovulation tests before! It really works great! Every morning from day 10 onwards, pee on a stick and if you've released your egg, you get a smiley; if not, then no! Unfortunately, it didn't work for me both times because I was bedridden with the flu, but now I know roughly when it is!

I don't track my temperature, heard that your temp often goes up after you've released your egg, so that doesn't work...

Good idea to distract yourself with other things for a bit! So just enjoy Easter, eat some nice Easter eggs, and we'll see how it goes after that!

    Let me know!

    Love,
  18. Mommy #118

    Hey Wipeout,

If it doesn't happen this month, I'll try that thought too! You know, I wanted to get pregnant as naturally as possible without making too much fuss, but at some point you don't know what you're feeling anymore and start doubting and stuff...
Now I'd rather have clarity, I need that. It was nice confirmation for me, when tempering, that I do have an ovulation, get it!
I know you're already too late then, just every 2 days ''cuddling'' haha!

But good tip, I'm curious how that works.
Well... hold on a bit longer, now I'm getting a bit tired and hungry and my breasts are getting bigger and more sensitive. No idea though!
I'm looking forward to Easter, so I'm excited. Has your mom already passed by?

You too have nice days and you'll hear from me,
    Love Joy

    Hi Jopie,

Welcome! Nice that you're joining in!

I just read your story. I'm feeling my ovulation too, and it really bothers me; it lasts about a week for me. I do have a regular cycle, around 30 days usually. Funny thing is, I'm supposed to get my period on the first day of Easter.

For the fertility tests, I also have to track my temperature now. I find it quite difficult because I'm always inclined to hit the snooze button first, but you're not supposed to do that before taking your temperature. Actually, I should also get a blood test on the first day of my period, but well, that's not possible on Easter Monday or Tuesday. In my experience, I'm getting my period again. Binge eating, sore breasts, and sometimes pain lower down on the left side of my belly.

Recently, a colleague came up to me and said: "Sorry for asking, but are you pregnant?" I replied, "Well, then you'd know sooner than I do." She told me that her daughter kept calling her "baby" every time she saw her. And she had said that more often to women who were pregnant. That night I also dreamed that I was pregnant, and that a kid at my workplace had come up with a name for my baby (Groeland). I'm not making this up. You really start going crazy, and even if you're not actively trying, you get confronted with it this way, haha. I really hope I am pregnant, otherwise, we'll have to go through the mill again. My husband doesn't want me to do ovulation tests, but I think it's getting close anyway.

Hang in there, Wipeout, and Jopie, good luck with waiting, it's exciting for both of us!

    Love and big hugs, Marjolijn

    Hey Joy and Marjolein,

I used those ovulation tests earlier because I was afraid I wouldn't ovulate...... I hadn't been feeling great lately and had lost some weight as a result.
Luckily, my boyfriend didn't mind too much! So when I got a positive test, we were both really happy. We know for sure that's a good sign!

My period is thankfully over! I'll start the ovulation tests on Monday! And in the meantime, lots of "cuddling"......

My breasts are also getting bigger regularly, even before my period...... We actually had safe sex in between just to see if it was due to conception or just the usual hormones... well, for me, it's just the usual hormones!

    I'm rooting for you!
    Happy Easter,

    Love,
