Hi Nienke and Wipeout,
It's nice to read that more women are trying to get pregnant from May onwards. A bit strange to say, because you'd ideally want to get pregnant right away.
May I share my thoughts with you guys? I went to the GP this morning. I've had pain on the left side of my lower abdomen since last week, and it hurts a lot when my body tells me I need to pee. But anyway, she wasn't entirely sure. So I had to give a urine sample and get an ultrasound... both done. The urine was fine and not pregnant . But with the ultrasound, it was a different story... there was something visible that looks like the beginning of a pregnancy... but they're not sure. I can't remember exactly what they called it, but I'll get a call from the GP tomorrow, so I'll ask extra carefully.
We're a bit confused now and I can't wait until tomorrow... I'm thinking... I had diarrhea and vomiting on Sunday, and since I hadn't had any issues for the past few days, I drank a lot... could that have clouded the doctor's results? It wasn't first-morning urine that I gave either.
hey marjolijn, i can't quite say what you have, but a colleague of mine had an ectopic pregnancy, maybe you have something similar too. she tested negative too but was pregnant... it didn't end well back then, but now she's beautifully pregnant again without any problems.
lots of luck, girl, and keep us posted!!!!
love, sofie
Thank you, Sofie!
Yesterday the GP called. I have calcium deposits in my kidneys, so I had to make an appointment with an internist. They also found a cyst that is 6 centimeters big, but it could also be the start of a pregnancy. If I haven't gotten my period by Monday, I need to take a test. And then call through with the results. Whether I am pregnant or not, a gynecologist needs to take a look. But that can only happen once they know the test results...
Snif, snif, I've been having my period since Thursday... I can't see a gynecologist until November 28th... And I won't know what's going on until then... And that's right in the middle of my fertile week again. I cried so much yesterday... so much is coming our way right now... maybe it's for the best...
How are you guys doing?
Hi ladies!
This afternoon I’m going to the gynecologist at 2 PM!!! Since Monday, the pain on the left side of my lower abdomen has gotten worse and it’s been constant. Yesterday I went to the midwife, and she called me back in the afternoon. She made an (urgent) appointment with the gynecologist. I hope he/she can help me this afternoon.
It went well. They did an internal ultrasound but couldn't really find anything and blamed it on endometriosis. The scan was good and they couldn't find any cysts anymore. For extra caution, they took two swabs and I'll get the results on the 28th of this month. So we're going into the next round with full confidence, and if I get my period next month, I'm allowed to use diclofenac.
Good luck to you too, and thanks for your message!
that's so nice that the results are looking good and you're going all out for it again. Really super good news, right?
Thanks for the good luck, I need it extra this weekend. I've calculated that I'm at my most fertile right now, so it's really exciting!!!! I'm just going to enjoy it for now and then hope, hope that it sticks
hey ladies,
I'm here with a really weird question.
I just went to the bathroom and while wiping, some white mucus came out.
A little later I had a terrible cramp (I think in the uterus).
What could that be? I ovulated yesterday.
Love, Valerie
Hi girls,
I suddenly got my period more than two weeks earlier than expected, which is really weird for me. I normally have a 6-week cycle, but now it's only 4 weeks (by two days). I feel really bad right now. My mom says I'm spoiled with my long cycle, but yeah, I can't make heads or tails of it. Can I suddenly get a shorter cycle? And should I expect the next one to also come in four weeks? I have really bad stomach pain right now, which I haven't had in a long time. It really hurts.
