Maaike, that's such a shame! I'd go to the doctor right now.
How am I doing? :-)
Last Monday I had a diagnostic laparoscopy. They didn't remove anything. That needs to be discussed first. The positive thing is that my uterus looks good and there is a chance for children, but it's small. The fallopian tubes are adhered and thickened; the path to them is accessible, but they can't grab the sperm with their arms. There's also a lump that they can't just remove because then there would be a hole in my intestines; it's also against my bladder and uterus. Furthermore, my abdomen is full of adhesions. If we want children, it has to be artificial, or a fallopian tube has to be removed, and then my abdomen also needs to be cleaned. The doctor basically said you've been messing around for too long, including the general practitioner. Monday I felt nauseous after the anesthesia and vomited a lot; they only let me go when I wasn't nauseous anymore. I also slept a lot. Tuesday the blow came and I had to cry a lot. Still crying a bit.
On June 6th we have to go back to the gynecologist to discuss this and what we want. I now have an injection called Lucrin that stops menstruation, like an artificial menopause. I'm not allowed to menstruate for now; my abdomen needs to rest for a while.
It's so sad to read your story, really heartbreaking! I'm thinking of you!
Wishing you lots of get well soon and take it easy while recovering, such a procedure is no joke! Even if it's on an emotional level....
Take your time for your grief, you're allowed to be angry, sad, etc.!
Lots of strength, we're all thinking of you, I think!
