I haven't taken a test yet. I do have one at home somewhere and really want to take it, but something's still holding me back. Yes, both kids were born via C-section—the first one was an emergency C-section and the second one was planned. Unfortunately, I can't give birth naturally. That's really sad!!!! I wouldn't be able to tell you either, but maybe your mom is right. I think I should take a test again. Good luck!

Here's a little update from our baby-to-be hihi
Yesterday I went to the midwife, she naturally asked how I was feeling and I replied that the tests say so and my breasts have grown a cup size but I feel absolutely great so she said let's secretly take a peek in your tummy.. We were so happy of course because we were only supposed to get an ultrasound in 3 weeks.
Fortunately, it's just one (8 twins in our family) so I was a bit scared it might be 2.
Also, I'm not 8 weeks but 9 weeks pregnant and my due date is October 1st.
Looking forward to the 18 March dating scan. So exciting to see everything again and then we can finally tell our oldest...
    Good luck ladies

    Hi Nana83,

What great news! I'm really happy for you guys! It's awesome that you were able to see an ultrasound already!

    Enjoy being pregnant!

Love, Marjolijn (still not on my period)

    Hi Nana,

That's super good news! It's nice that you're feeling so well and everything is going well with your baby. I'm now three days overdue and have had two negative tests so far—one was an early test three days before my expected period, and the other was on the day it was due. I'm going to wait until I'm a week overdue.
  5. Nana83 #85

Oh my goodness, Marjolijn, still no period?? That's weird, especially since the doctor can't do anything for you.
Nynke, hoping that the hCG level was still too low and that you'll have a positive test in your hands in a few days.
    Good luck, ladies.
    Love, Nathalie

I'm back on my period my whole calendar is ruined but luckily I have a handy app . I'm going to try something new, hopefully I'll stick with it and that way it'll work out sooner. Thanks for your support! And good luck Nynke! I hope you have a positive test in a week!

    Hey Marjolein,

What a bummer that you got your period again, but on the other hand, you can start working on the next round now. It's indeed getting tricky to calculate, since you don't know when it'll happen again.
My boyfriend and I did our best on vacation, so we'll see what happens in two weeks!

What news are you hoping for?

    Best wishes!

    Hey Wipeout,

Exciting! So you had a nice vacation then ;-)

Yeah, it was indeed a bummer that I got my period again. Lots of pain again. The new thing I'm going to try is a diet specifically for people with endometriosis. It's very pure eating. No wheat, sugar, soy, or dairy.

According to my app, we can try again between March 13th and March 20th, and according to the app, the predicted ovulation day is the 17th :-)

    Love,

    Marjolijn

Good luck with your diet, Marjolijn, and who knows, we might read some good news from you in 3 weeks too!
  10. Wipeout Guest #90

    Hey Marjolein,

What a good idea to try out such a diet. Tomorrow will be one week after my egg, hopefully... I do have cramps and twinges in my lower belly, but we're going to wait calmly. We had a super holiday, alas, back to work again this week.

You lots of success with the chores in the coming week!

    Greetings

    Hi ladies,

Went to the gynecologist with my husband yesterday. We've started a fertility check-up. We're getting guidance to help us conceive. We're both feeling quite excited about it.

Have you heard anything from Nynke?

    Love, Marjolijn

    Hey Marjolijn,

That's so nice that you're going to get support from the hospital..... This is really comforting! How long have you been trying for a baby (or did you mention that already, but I forgot?)....

    Wishing you lots of success!

    Hi ladies,

I took a little break, hoping I could let it rest a bit, but no. I really missed the forum too

Started my period on Saturday after a faint positive test. That night into Sunday, I woke up a lot from the pain—I got nauseous and my whole body was trembling. Spent all Sunday on the couch with hot water bottles and painkillers. Monday got through it on paracetamol, and today I had to take some again. In the afternoon, I lost something that looked like a pregnancy sac. Then the puzzle pieces finally fell into place.

On to the next round, and if it works out this time, hoping it sticks this time.

    Hey Nynke,

That's so nice that you're back! I can totally understand that you can't miss the forum... I'm also trying with all my heart not to hope too much for a pregnancy and thus only come back to the forum when I'm pregnant, but well, I remain curious to see how the other ladies are doing!

I'm currently waiting until Monday, then I hope I won't get my period..... For the past few days I've had cramps in my stomach, lots of white discharge yesterday, and my breasts are starting to become more sensitive. I'll try to ignore everything, but I don't think that's going to work!

I'm cheering for all of you that a little miracle will soon grow in your wombs.

    Love,
    Wipeout

I have an appointment tomorrow at the hospital to check if my suspicion is correct and if everything is completely gone so I can start the next round with peace of mind.

wipeout, exciting I'm rooting for you!

    Hey Nynke,

Wishing you lots of success today at the doctor's. It's good to have the GP check if your instincts were right. And then continue with the next round!

    Love,
  17. Ster #97

    Hi ladies,

It's a borderline case and not really considered a miscarriage by the GP. Probably something went wrong during implantation. That happens quite often, but thanks to all the good tests nowadays, we find out sooner. I probably wouldn't have even known in the past. Once the bleeding has stopped, I can move forward with a clear conscience. So that's what we'll do.
  18. Wipeout #98

    Hey,

What a shame! But on the other hand, you now know what you're up against!

Good luck in the next round!

I'm eagerly waiting here for tomorrow... I have an irregular cycle so I don't really know how long I should wait to test... One time 24 days, the other time 31... I'm on day 28 now... I think I'll take a test tomorrow, since this morning while brushing my teeth I felt my stomach turning and then threw up my breakfast.....
    So I'm really curious!
  20. Wipeout #100

    Test day 29.... Negative.........

Gonna wait a few more days again........
