Hi. I had a miscarriage 2.5 weeks ago at 6 weeks. I'm still having some bleeding. Yesterday, my midwife referred me to a gynecologist. I'm glad it's all clear now. She said my body reacts differently than the general guidelines. Ovulation is on Saturday (tomorrow), according to her. We have the green light. Now my question is: what would you do? Try again despite the bleeding, or wait for my period?

    Best, Vera

    Hi,
On Feb 8 I thought I was about 8 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound. It turned out to be a missed abortion. We decided to wait for a miscarriage to start naturally, but it didn’t. After a few weeks, I made an appointment with the gynecologist. They prescribed some medication for me. After taking it, things started almost immediately. The bleeding was very intense for the first 3 days, with severe abdominal pain. The afterbleeding lasted a total of 3 weeks, and I’ve been clear for a week now. It’s been quite a long time, so… We really want to try for a baby again, but it’s hard to figure out exactly when ovulation happens. So, we’re just waiting and hoping for a healthy pregnancy this time.

    Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, I also had a miscarriage on March 19th. On March 21st, I took the pills and lost everything in almost 1 day... The bleeding lasted for a week. When do you start counting for ovulation? After the bleeding ends? We want to get pregnant again as soon as possible

    Hi there,

I'm new here. On April 18th we had our 12-week scan and it looked like there were several issues with the baby. We did all sorts of tests and it turned out to be Trisomy 18. I had a D&C on April 20th. I bled for a week and then nothing else. My gynecologist told me to take the pill for a month and then we could start trying again. I've now had my withdrawal bleed and according to my old cycle (29 days) I should have ovulated on Thursday. However, I haven't noticed any signs of ovulation yet. Normally my cervical mucus is stretchy and clear, and I feel pain in my belly. I'm using the digital Clearblue ovulation tests but I don't really trust them. They indicated I was in a fertile phase (estrogen would rise), but not yet in the LH peak. So everything feels quite uncertain to me. I'm actually constantly thinking about it; every time I go to the toilet I hope my mucus has changed...

I also really like drinking decaf coffee again, but now I'm afraid I might be drinking too much (sometimes 5 cups) and that I'm not fertile because of that.

All these doubts of a control freak However, I have experienced that I don't have control over everything and I need to learn to let go and trust nature.

    Hi,

I had a miscarriage on June 21st at 8.5 weeks. At 7 weeks, I started having light bleeding, and it didn't stop. Everywhere I read that it doesn't have to mean anything, but well, you're naturally terrified. I just had a feeling that something wasn't right. The breast pain also suddenly decreased... I requested an ultrasound on Monday and everything was fine, a beating heart, etc. The gynecologist said, if you're not reassured now, I don't know what else to say... The gynecologist also gave me a suppository to relax the uterus. I didn't dare take it because everywhere on the internet it said it wasn't good for pregnant women. I really didn't want anything in my body that wasn't natural... But well, out of desperation and hoping it would stop the bleeding, I took it anyway. On Thursday, I had another ultrasound, so 4 days later. The heart wasn't beating anymore. See, I thought... I already had that feeling... Even though you try to stay positive. Got Cytotec and that evening, after dying of the contraction pain for half an hour, the baby came out. I bled for another 1.5 weeks. After 3 weeks, I got my period again (counting from the day of the miscarriage)... Wanted to wait for 2 or 3 periods before trying again... So this week I should be ovulating somewhere. Hope it works out this month. Have to say it was mentally quite heavy, especially because my girlfriends suddenly also happened to all get pregnant in the month I had my miscarriage... And my sister was 2 weeks further along than I was, it was too good to be true. She's now 24 weeks and everything is healthy with her. Hope it's a one-time thing and the next one will stick... Fingers crossed. xx

Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage on January 29, 2019. I was 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. That morning I was at the doctor's office, and she said everything felt fine, but unfortunately, no heartbeat could be seen, and it was a miscarriage. That same day, I indeed lost the baby. It's now February 2, and I'm not bleeding anymore. We also want to get pregnant again and hope for the best.

I'm 30 years old and have two children: a 12-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl.

Hi everyone, I had a miscarriage last October and had two D&Cs because the first one didn't work out. Got my first period back in December. Now, several months later, still nothing. Every month I have really bad stomach pain during my period. Sometimes I want to give up because of the pain. I'm 37 now. Are there others who have pain every month but keep going? I could really use a little boost right now????
