Do you feel everything from the start?

The egg was big enough.
And for a week now
Very nauseous and sore breasts
I did take a test, but it was negative

    Hi,

I'm also taking Clomid since this month and I'm now at 2 DPO.
But you're already a week past ovulation?
  2. loes #3

Hi ladies, I also started taking Clomid this month. How did it go for you guys? Unfortunately, I had already ovulated when I arrived at the hospital The gynecologist checked me three times last week, but it was already too late (it was early, just 10 days after my first day of menstruation). I had blood drawn today.

Curious to hear your stories and especially the results ;-)

Oh, that registration went really fast, so it’s working a bit too well?

The updates weren’t too bad—just a mild headache, feeling tired, and occasional cramps. Two follicles on day 14 ultrasound: one measuring 15.5 and the other 21.5. Now having blood tests on Friday.
  4. loes #5

Yes, apparently! Although my cycle has been a bit off the last 3 months too.
Glad the side effects were mild and 2 follicles, neat ! Same here, few side effects. Are you on the waiting list now too?
  5. Nannie ❤ #6

Tricky, isn't it? Hope you get the right dosage soon then.

Yeah, I'm now at 5/6 dpo, so the suspenseful days have started
  6. loes #7

I'm probably 9 days past ovulation, but I'm not expecting much this month I thought my ovulation would be much later, and I only had sex once

Why are you taking Clomid anyway? How long have you been trying to get pregnant? I've been at it for 3.5 years now (I was once pregnant naturally, but it was a molar pregnancy, so I lost a year).
  7. Nannie ❤ #8

Oh, 9 dpo already? Exciting! Even if you only had sex once, you'll see that that one time was unexpectedly enough. Was this during your fertile days, looking back?

Actually, I've been trying for four years already, with my current partner for 1.5 years. Round 23, I thought, but I've lost count haha.
I'm taking Clomid because my cycles are too irregular, and the blood test also showed PCOS, probably due to hereditary factors. I'm not fat and eat relatively healthily.

But geez, Billy's also been trying for a long time! And so sad about your miscarriage.. I've read a bit about molar pregnancy, seems really awful to me that you'd have to deal with that. I myself had two miscarriages last year. One at five weeks and one at 7.1 weeks. The second one was physically very hard for me, it took a long time before the bleeding stopped and hCG was out of my body. I really hope it'll be within a few months now.

    Do you have symptoms?
  8. Nannie ❤ #9

Oh, so it was only recently, huh? That's intense... It takes a while to find a place for it, right? Especially with such a long aftermath.

    I'm 33 too
    Which province are you from?

By the way, I already have a daughter who's almost nine, and my partner has a son who's 6.
  9. loes #10

Yeah, it was pretty intense.....but especially the long aftermath has an impact. We were already 2.5 years into trying before I even got pregnant, and then another year on top of that because of the misery of the molar pregnancy. But hey....I hope it still works out well for you.

I live in South Holland. You?

That's nice that you already have a daughter and a stepson!
  10. Nannie ❤ #11

I hope so too for you!

    I live in Gelderland
  11. loes #12

And for you, I hope the same, of course! Let's hope that Chlomid does something useful in the coming days! We'll keep in touch x
  12. loes #13

First attempt with Clomid failed unfortunately. Looking back, we were actually on point that one time with ovulation. But unfortunately, it didn't work out. How about you?
  13. Nannie ❤ #14

Aah, that's a shame, Loes! You always keep good hope, right?

I got the progesterone level results today, it was 127, which she said was very good on the phone. So everything did its job well! :-)

Are you continuing with the same dosage? Yes, right?

Three more days to go now.. I do have mega sensitive breasts and occasional other symptoms, but I don't know, I don't have a convincing feeling that it's a hit..
  14. loes #15

Yeah, I have to say the disappointment really hit hard this time. I'm so done with it!

But wow, what a good progesterone level!! I got my results yesterday and it was 29. I think they measured a bit late because of the Easter weekend, though. My ovulation was on Sunday and they measured on Tuesday, 9 days later.
    When was your measurement day?

The level was okay, but the gynecologist wanted to see it a bit higher. What dose of Clomid did you take again? I took 50mg.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you for the last few days!!
  15. Nannie ❤ #16

Yeah, you handle disappointment better one time than the other, right? I know what you mean.

Tested exactly 7 days after ovulation. 29 is quite a difference, huh? But it really just says something about the ovulation itself. I had two mature eggs, so I think that’s partly why it was so high, because the other two times they tested my levels it was 48 and 63 (without Clomid).

    I’m also taking 50mg.
  16. loes #17

Yeah, it’s pretty intense... one month is easier than the next. It’s nice to talk to people who get it

29 is indeed a big difference. It had to be at least 25, so it’s okay overall. 48 and 63 without Clomid are also pretty high, I’d say. I’m curious about the next round.

Hopefully, you’ll have good news sooner!
  17. Nannie ❤ #18

As long as it's okay, right? I hope you get a better result and a positive test next round!

I'll let you know on the 27th!
  18. Nannie ❤ #19

Hey Loes, how are you doing?

I've started my period here, just as I expected. Otherwise, I'm feeling fine. I'll go pick up a new dose of Clomid today.
  19. Loes Guest #20

Hey Nannie, Aaah, it's a bit of a bummer!! But he's doing better again now. Three more days of Clomid, then back to the hospital on Tuesday. Can't wait!
On to the new round and new chances!! I'm crossing my fingers for us x
