long cycle

Hi ladies,

I stopped the pill in January to try for baby #2. My first pregnancy was with Clomid.
I had 4 cycles of 34 to 38 days, which was okay. But now I'm already on day 58. Around day 40 I saw a lot of cervical mucus, but still no period.
Next Thursday 6/8 I have an appointment with the gynecologist to discuss taking Clomid again, but should I call to go sooner and possibly induce a period? If the next cycle is this long again, it could be a long time before I can take Clomid again.

Thanks for your tips!

That is indeed a long cycle. It's possible that you're already pregnant, so just test it quickly before you call. If it stays away and you start bleeding a few days later, then the cycle is just a bit longer. No panic, that often happens after stopping the pill. You're doing well by calling the gynecologist with the test result.
