Big pregnancy wish after miscarriage

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for 'peers' who are also trying to get pregnant. I'm 26, have a son who's 2 years old, and found out in September that I was pregnant with our second. First time around, I got pregnant within a month; second time, within 3 months. Unfortunately, the second pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. It didn't start naturally, so I had a D&C. Exactly 28 days after the D&C, I got my period again. That was over 2 months ago, so we've been trying for 2 months now. The tricky part is that my cycle has been all over the place since the miscarriage. For example, I'm 2 days late now and have been feeling nauseous for a few days. I just tested, but I'm not pregnant. Big disappointment!! I've decided to wait until I'm at least a week late before testing next time, to avoid false hope and big letdowns. Frustrating!! I'd really like to share these things with others who are going through the same.

Best, Lon

    Hi,

I had a miscarriage last February after almost 8 weeks.
Now we're going to try again next cycle with Clomid.

    Hi Lon.

I know exactly what you mean.
My cycle was also thrown into chaos after my 2 miscarriages in 10 months' time. I turned out to be 6 weeks pregnant at the time of the 1st pregnancy when we found out. Had a miscarriage at 11 weeks with the 1st pregnancy.
With the 2nd pregnancy I was already 5 weeks pregnant when we found out, and had a miscarriage at 9 weeks.

With my partner it also took a long time for my cycle to get going again after both my miscarriages.

After my 2 miscarriages I had tests done at the hospital. Because I found out that the contraception I was using didn't work and failed, hence why I got pregnant (despite the pill).
The tests showed that my ovulation doesn't happen 14 days after my last period, but 3-4 days later. And this makes me extremely fertile, especially in combination with my partner.
According to the gynecologist, I'll get pregnant quite soon...

If you want to talk again, I'm here.
And you can/ may always email me.
I also find it nice to talk to someone about it who has gone through the same thing as I have.
I do talk about it a lot with my partner. And then I just let everything go, I shed a tear. Because I still have a lot of trouble with it and because of the miscarriages, my desire for children and to get pregnant quickly has become very big.

Had a miscarriage after 7 weeks, but the most painful part is being pregnant again after 19 years. Just got home and really want another child. How long should I wait?
