Hi! Since yesterday I know I can join too, I only have my appointment tomorrow but had a positive test yesterday and today... After 2 kids, it's my first time on a forum, and that's partly due to the situation. I've been in a new relationship for 6 months and got pregnant while still on the pill. Reactions from people around us won't all be immediately positive, which is understandable. But despite it happening so quickly, we're going for it and are happy about it. It's nice to share that with other women who are pregnant too.

    Greetings

    Hi Rosamber,

Welcome and congratulations! I also got a not-so-nice reaction from a friend. She really wants a family too but is still single and had to cry her eyes out when I told her the news.

    Best wishes

    Hi AM,

That must have been such a shock. Hopefully, the midwife will find out today that everything is fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you both!

    Best wishes

Hey AM, are you experiencing a lot of bleeding? I had it during the first 12 weeks, and it can definitely be normal. Maybe that will reassure you a bit. It's really scary, but if it's not too much blood and you don't have any cramps, it doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. I really hope everything is okay for you!

    Hi Molly,

Thanks for your reply.. I indeed saw that you had something similar and wanted to send you a message, but first I'll wait for the VK. I did have a lot of bleeding, bright red, but no pain. And more in the morning than during the day, and it could have been a miscarriage, but I didn't have all the symptoms, so it could also be something else. Yes, I have pain now, that's my intestines from stress and uncertainty.
I got a referral to the gynecologist, luckily.
I can go there Thursday morning. Hopefully more certainty then! Pffff.. this feels terrible! The baby is so welcome!
Luckily, yours was okay in the end, it gives me some courage too!

    Hi Mom,

Thanks! I just replied to Molly, see below.

Welcome and CONGRATULATIONS Rosamber! There are always people who think they know best, but if you're really happy with it, that's what matters, right?
    Best wishes

    Hi everyone,

I have some bad news. I've lost our baby!
Two weeks ago I got terrible pain in my belly. On Sunday I couldn't hold it anymore from the severe pain and had to go to the ER, where they said I had a urinary tract infection. On Monday I took medication for the infection but the pain didn't go away. My doctor came to my house on Monday and said if I still got pain or if the pain didn't go away, I should get an ultrasound. I couldn't hold it that evening from the pain so I went back to the clinic, they did an ultrasound but the doctor couldn't say directly what was wrong, he had a hard time seeing it. I had to come back on Tuesday for a vaginal ultrasound. I went to the clinic on Tuesday for the vaginal ultrasound and what was found: an ectopic pregnancy. We were devastated! We were so happy that we were pregnant and had a baby in the belly and now they took it away from us! I was operated on that Tuesday and also lost one fallopian tube because it was so swollen!
We both find it really hard, but we have to move on and try again next time, right.
I wish all the other future mums all the best and that everything goes well in your pregnancies.

    Greetings

    J.

    Hi Jaimy,

That's so sad for you both. I can completely understand that you're going through a grieving process right now. Hopefully, your body will stabilize and be ready for a baby soon. Strength for now.

    Hi Jaimy!!

That’s terrible!!! And really heavy to sit in that uncertainty for a few days.
I also spent a few days in uncertainty due to heavy bleeding. This morning, after a vaginal ultrasound, I found out I had a miscarriage. Your whole world crumbles.. Since last night, I suddenly stopped bleeding again. My uterus is already clean. It’s all so bizarre. The baby was so welcome. We need to let everything settle first, I’ve also cried a lot these past days.
I hope you get pregnant again soon with a good outcome!! Take it easy!!

For the rest of all (expectant) Moms, I wish you a very happy pregnancy!!!

That's so sad for you both. I can well imagine that you're going through a grieving process right now. Hopefully your body will stabilize and be ready for a baby soon. Strength for now.

Hi Moby, yes we need to give it a place and then try again soon, right. We really desperately want a baby xx

    Hi AM,
That's terrible to read your story, we're in more or less the same boat. Maja, we have to keep trying and we'll have a baby someday.
    Good luck, girl.

    Hi Jaimy and AM

That's awful... I hope everything turns out okay for you guys soon. A new positive test and a beautiful pregnancy... For now, lots of strength with processing it... although I wonder if you can really process something like that...

    Hi Rosamber,

Thanks for your message. We need to find a place to stay and now rest and recover from the surgery. Then we'll go back. We want and will have a beautiful baby!

    Hi AM,

That's so awful that you're going through this too. Such bad luck. I'm thinking of you both and hope that your body bounces back quickly and is ready for your baby.

    Hi Mobo and Rosamber,

Yes, I hope so too! I'm still feeling a bit dizzy though! The weird thing is, it was already visible on the ultrasound that an egg was ready... that's just how the body handles such situations! Still feeling emotional though

Thanks, and I'll keep you posted I'm curious how things are going with you!

    Love,

Hi everyone, that's terrible. I'm also in a state of uncertainty right now. I had bright red bleeding yesterday evening. Today I left work with a lot of cramps and went home. I'm now lying in bed with a hot water bottle. The bleeding has stopped, but the cramps are unbearable. I can go to the ER tomorrow, so now it's a matter of waiting and hoping. Wishing you all strength in processing your loss. Greetings.

Thank you! That's awful! Did you have a lot of bleeding?
That really scares you and makes you so unsure!
Take it easy and hope everything else is okay with the little one!
    Greetings

    Hi ladies,

I haven't replied for a few days because I had bleeding and took some time for myself to stay calm and take good care of myself and my baby. I've had ultrasounds now to check that everything is okay with my little one, and thankfully it is. I had another scan this week, and my baby is doing well and has grown nicely. I also draw a lot of strength from my prayers.

It really hurts to read what you're going through, Jaimy and AM. You were my girls that I was talking to. I wish you both lots of strength during this time; I know it won't be easy. One day you'll be mums, believe me. Sending lots of love and strength your way.

@Mamiangela I hope everything is okay with the little one.

    Love, Brenda

    Hi Brenda,
It's so nice to read that your little one is doing well. How many weeks are you at now?

    Warm regards,
