Hi everyone!

Last Friday, my husband and I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!
We’re probably due around mid-October. On Friday, we’re going to see the GP together.
I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.
Are there any mums here who are about as far along?
It would be so nice to swap experiences and just chat about our pregnancies.

Best,
Maria

    Hey,

I had a baby in December so I'm not quite as far along as you, but I wanted to congratulate you! Enjoy this beautiful time!

    Hi Maria,

My partner and I took a pregnancy test yesterday. I'm going to the GP tomorrow to get blood drawn.
I'm also about 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant.

We were over the moon when we saw a faint line!

    Hi Jaimy,

    CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy.
I see that you're going to the GP tomorrow.
I would ask the GP some questions, but they're having you do a blood test?
I stopped the pill last December, with the idea that it would take a while to conceive. Due to several factors that played a role, the chance of getting pregnant right away was a bit smaller. I had one normal period and then got pregnant. It feels weird that it happened so quickly, especially compared to people who have been trying for so long / have been trying for a long time.
It's nice that you don't have many complaints yet, keep it up!!
    Good luck tomorrow!
    Greetings

    Hi AM,

    Thank you so much.
Yes, we only found out yesterday that I'm pregnant. And we're having a blood test on Monday just to be sure. You know, to be 100% sure?
I'm really happy for you guys, it's wonderful.
I was starting to worry a bit, we'd been trying for 7 months, and then the stress, the fatigue, all of it together made me think, why is it taking so long for us? And I'd see all my friends who were pregnant too, and I'd think, everyone else but us.

But in the end, it worked out. And we're incredibly happy.
Now I do have quite a bit of nausea, and a feeling like I'm going to throw up..

    Best, Jaimy

    Hi,

Congratulations to everyone. I'm now 5 weeks and 4 weeks pregnant. (A bit weird to say out loud!) I'm 33 and had my IUD removed in September. When I didn't get my period 1.5 weeks ago, I took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. When I still hadn't gotten my period last Wednesday, I took another test and found out I was pregnant. The only thing I'm experiencing now is tender breasts, especially towards the end of the day, and very occasionally a small cramp in my stomach. According to my GP, I don't need to come in, but I should call a midwife this week and make an appointment in my 8th week.

    Best regards

    Hi!

@ Mono; CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy! That's so nice!! That after more than 1.5 years you finally got a positive test. Is this your first baby?
For us, you don't really need to go to the GP in principle, but I have a few questions etc. and I'm curious how high my hCG is, so I'll go on Friday.

@ Jaimy..wow, a super feeling and even further than you thought, enjoy it!

How are Maria and FP doing?

    Greetings

Yes, I'm really thrilled. Yes, apparently more than I thought, 6 weeks, wow, that goes by fast.

How are you doing? Greetings, Jaimy

    Hi everyone,
I can happily join in with you all .....:-)
I took a test on Monday, February 11th, and I'm pregnant...after 6 months of trying.
According to the calculation, I'm now 6 weeks and 1 day along, and my due date is October 13th.
    Greetings

    Hi AM,

Thanks. This is indeed our first baby. We actually got pregnant quite quickly (in 4 months), but I hadn't expected it when I casually took a pregnancy test on Wednesday.
I told my mom on Sunday, and she shed a little tear, even though this will be her second grandchild. We're going to tell my in-laws this coming weekend.
    @Mamiangela: congratulations and welcome!

    Best,

Thanks Molly! When is your due date?
  16. AM #17

    Hi Jaimy,

Yeah, it's early too.. only my dad, father-in-law (both mothers are no longer with us) & sister know it now.. the rest can wait a bit hihi but I just wanted to share it with my loved ones..

    Hi AM

Yes, that's true. I totally know that feeling, I want to shout it from the rooftops haha!
How far along are you now?
On March 8th I'm going to the gynecologist for the first time for the first ultrasound, so exciting!

    Greetings

My due date is June 15th. I can't wait until it's time!

Hi everyone. First of all, congratulations to you all on your pregnancies. I'd like to join in the celebration too. My due date is October 7th, so I'm 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant, and of course I'm really happy.

How long have I been trying?
My partner and I started trying consciously on December 3rd.
My last period started on December 31st.
On February 5th, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.

    Symptoms.
    Frequent urination
    Stomach ache + stabbing/cramping pains
    Fatigue
    Urinary tract infection
    Nausea
    Constipation
    White discharge
Cravings for foods I normally don't like
    Occasional headaches
    Sore and swollen breasts
    Pregnancy mask

Despite all the symptoms, I'm enjoying my pregnancy.
Tomorrow I'm seeing my little one for the first time, which is really exciting.

    Good luck to you all.

    Best wishes, Brenda
