Hello dear ladies?

I'm not quite sure where to begin, but I'll try to express myself as best I can.

I was told at 22 that I'm in perimenopause. The chance of me getting pregnant in my lifetime is around 5%. Well, I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago, and I've been struggling with my health for a week now. I even spent a few hours in the hospital last Tuesday. I'm currently experiencing the following symptoms:

More discharge than usual
Abdominal pain
Nausea
Dizziness
Slightly tender breasts

These symptoms seem to be worse in the evening.
Are there any women who recognize this and were pregnant at the time? Could I test already? Due to perimenopause, I have no idea when my period should be due. I'd love to hear from you!

Love, Helena.

    Hey,
I didn't feel pregnant at all during the first few weeks. I had no symptoms. So I can't really help you right away.
    Greetings.

I think a test would help you the most.

I didn't have the first four symptoms, but it really varies from person to person. I'd take a test too. After two weeks, you might already see something if that's the case.

Thank you so much for your replies! I'm going to do a test tomorrow, it's so incredibly exciting! I've already hung over the toilet twice tonight (ugh), the nausea really only kicks in at night. I'm so curious what the result will be? Hoping for the best. I'll keep you posted!

And have you already tested Helena? I'm curious!

Well, I took a test and it seems like I'm seeing a very faint line, but I'm afraid it might be an evaporation line. I used the Kruidvat 2 v5 one. I'll take another one in a few days.

Hope you can see it like this

My tests started like that too. I'll test again tomorrow or in two days

I find this so exciting but I'm so afraid that this is a dud..

If you saw it within the reading time, it should be fine.

I’d test again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow; it should be clearer then.

@helena I also see a faint line I would repeat it every other day with morning urine.

Oh no, false alarm.. I took a test with my morning urine this morning and it was negative.. I secretly hoped it would be positive. Thank you for your kind responses, ladies ?

@helena I'm jealous, sighbut no blood is courage

    Oh, that's too bad, Helena
Can you still get your period if you're in the early stages of perimenopause?
  17. Elvira #18

@sunflower, there's still a small chance of ovulation during the early transition, so you could still get your period I don't have any personal experience with this, but I read it online once
  18. Sunflower #19

Oh that's actually positive. Although you only know if you've ovulated when your period starts (unless you feel the ovulation). That's a bit of a bummer then

I still get my period, but there's a longer time between them.. sometimes it takes 3 months before I get my period again. And because of the early menopause, my LH hormone is also very high, which means I can't test with ovulation tests. So that makes it all even more difficult..
