Clomid and ovulation

Hi,
Last month I started taking Clomid for the first time.
On day 12 I had to go to the gynecologist for the first time, but the follicle was only 1 cm. On day 17 I went back, and then there were 2 follicles that were 2 cm. Tomorrow will be day 17, which was already 3 weeks ago. Could it be that it took another week for me to ovulate, or that I didn't ovulate at all? For now, no period yet anyway... Thanks in advance for your answers!

Aren't you supposed to have ultrasounds until ovulation has occurred?
It's quite possible that your ovulation happens later than expected. One woman I supported with her monitoring rounds had her ovulation 8 days after the gynecologist said it would happen. So that's quite a difference.
