LH peak 5 days after bleeding

Yeah, that's something I've thought about too. But the pregnancy test was negative.. Now I'm only 3 days late on Wednesday, so I'll just test again on Tuesday if the ovulation test keeps showing a line.
If it was a period, then my NO obviously still has a while to go. But can an ovulation bleed really give 3 days of blood? The annoying thing is that I also have very little blood during a period, so I saw little difference there..
I know I have few eggs left, and will start IVF in about 2 months. Despite this, I did get pregnant twice the natural way. But unfortunately, it didn't work out Now it hasn't worked for a while. Conclusion: I know the cause of my irregular cycle. But I've never had this before. I'd really like to know what the explanation could be. You'd think of an ovulation bleed. Because if it was a period, can I never be fertile again so soon? The uterine lining needs time to build up.
I'll just keep testing! If the ovulation test is still positive in 2 days, maybe it's time for another pregnancy test. It would be nice if it were true.. Would save me a lot of pain. But honestly, I don't dare to hope for it..
