1st trimester
HCG went up, progesterone went down.

Hi ladies,
I'm now 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant. It's still very early, though. After a year and a half, I finally got pregnant with IUI—the third attempt was successful! Because we were closely monitored, I found out via a blood test at 3 weeks and 5 days that I was pregnant. My HCG was then 108 and progesterone 21. Now, a week later, I had another blood test. The midwife from the fertility center said it looked good over the phone. My HCG had risen to 1966. Today, I could check my blood results myself via the hospital app and saw that my progesterone had dropped to 14. I know progesterone should rise during pregnancy, so I'm worried now. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm going to call the fertility center and/or the gynecologist on Monday. I'd like more explanation about this. But maybe someone here already has experience with it? My head is full of uncertainty, not nice. I know it's part of it, especially during those first weeks. But pfff, I can't think of anything else now that I've seen those results :-(.
Greetings,
Kathe
