Hi ladies,
I'm about 3 weeks pregnant and I'm so happy about it!
But I'm having some period-like cramps and I've noticed more white discharge...
Is this normal? Or should I prepare myself for a miscarriage???!!????
Please help me!!!!

Big hug

Three weeks pregnant is still very early. Normally, you can only test from 4 weeks pregnant; only then is a pregnancy test really reliable. So to answer your question: it could go either way. You could get your period or you could be pregnant.

    Good luck!

Three weeks is indeed quite early. I also had a lot of stomach pain. Not real contractions, just pain, sometimes below my belly button and then a bit lower. That's also your intestines getting in the way. I'm already week 12, so I'll be rooting for you. And what does "more" discharge mean? In principle, it protects your cervix, it seals it off, so that's good!

I took 5 different pregnancy tests and they were all positive.
Clearblue indicated I was 2-3 weeks pregnant.
I even had an ultrasound and, yep, that was positive too, so I really am.

My cramps/pain vary; they come in waves. Sometimes they're quite intense, and at other times I feel fine.

Oh, if the Clear Blue says 2-3, you're indeed already a bit further along (4-5 weeks).
Unfortunately, it can still go all sorts of ways. Hopefully the pain will go away soon and you can start enjoying it.

An ultrasound at three weeks, you can't see anything yet From about 7-8 weeks you can see if the development is good by checking if there's a heartbeat or not.

Good morning, cramps and more white discharge are normal. The cramps happen because your uterus is stretching quickly and your ligaments.
Congratulations. When you took the Clearblue test, you were already 4/5 weeks pregnant!

    Super thanks for the replies!
It really puts my mind at ease to know it can be part of it!!

Noe, when did you take this test?

Noe, do you feel a bit better now? Like I already mentioned, I had exactly that. A lot of stomach pain, but no contractions (which is important), and creamy discharge. It's part of the process! Hopefully, you can enjoy it now.

So you can now be around 5 to 6 weeks old then it's completely logical to have the pains.

I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby, and I've had a lot of pain around week 5 with all of them. No cramps, just a dull ache. For me, it's growth pain, like early round ligament pain. With the second one, I even had an extra ultrasound at 5+2 weeks to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, but it turned out to be completely harmless. As early as it is, the baby is already claiming some space!

I had an ultrasound today (this because of several things).
I'm still VEEEEEEERY early so there's nothing to see on the ultrasound yet.
But..... a cyst was found in my right ovary, is this just a cyst and can it do no harm? Or is this just a little baby?

The midwife said I don't need to worry but I'm stressing myself to death!
    What do you guys think?

No idea, did you not ask the gynecologist? They can assess it better than we can from behind a screen

Yes, she said it's a cyst and it'll probably go away on its own, but I'm still so unsure...

Doubt and fear aren't good. My advice: call the OB-GYN again on Monday and explain your doubts and fears. Maybe they can call you back for a phone consultation where you can ask all your questions. Make sure to bundle and write down your questions in advance.
